Johnathon J. Smith Dares to Dream, Plays to Win

    in Writing

    Times: 7:00 pm EST / 8:00 pm AST  www.DaretoDreamPlaytoWin.com

Johnathon J. Smith seeks to inspire student-athletes with his new children's book, Dare to Dream, Play to Win. A heart-warming and motivational story presented as part of a world-class package, Smith wrote the book to show how young children can take the lessons learned from sports and apply them to the classroom. It is designed to encourage them to stay in school and learn all they can while still participating in team sports. The book discusses some of the issues Johnathon faced as an athlete.

A former University of Connecticut football player, Smith was hungry to be a great student athlete. He says, “You see, I was in search of a quick way to cash in, but somewhere along the way I realized that an education was far more valuable than what any sport or paycheck could offer.” He transferred to the University of Delaware where a greater emphasis was placed on academics. Since graduating, he started a personal fitness company that provides personal training services from the comfort of his own studio, select outdoor locations in South Florida, or his clients’ own fitness facilities. He is also actively volunteers to many events and nonprofit organizations serving kids.

Smith pursued an NFL career after rising through the ranks to play Division I football. Through his experiences he came to realize that he needed to focus on his degree because football wasn’t going to support him for the rest of his life.

Finalizing an adult book with the same title, he designed it to be a guide for those who desire to pursue college sports.

Aaron Rodgers and the day win probability died

    in Sports

Fantasy Football Episode 2.6: host Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion finally joins the sports media howling while lamenting football's male soap opera.

Only if Jermaine Kearse were a draft prospect would we break down his catch technique.

Proximo would have been a top flight defensive coordinator.

The Patriots call truly innovative plays. Throwing the ball to Nate Solder, the biggest tight end in college football history, was genius.

Mike McCarthy's utter disregard of win probability represented a seminal moment in the history of NFL playcalling.

Why Aaron Rodgers is the most impressive athlete in any sport.

Ronnie Hillman's presence is a problem for C.J. Anderson, not his new coach.
