Greg Jackson, Tyron Woodley, Tank Scoggins & Campbell McLaren on Alchemist Radio

    in Sports

This week on Alchemist Radio hosts Bryan Levick and Mitch Ciccarelli speak to a great panel of guests who are making noise in their own particular way.

UFC flyweight Tank Scoggins may be just 21 years old, but he has a 9-0 record and has won both of his fights inside the Octagon. The ATT product just defeated Will Campuzano at UFC 171 and is a win or two away from knocking on Mighty Mouse's front door.

UFC creator Campbell McLaren has a new venture going these days. He is working on a reality series entitled "Combate Americas" which is airing on mun2. UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie is working with McLaren to find talented MMA fighters from South America.

UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley joins us once again, this time coming off a 2nd round TKO over Carlos Condit at UFC 171. Woodley is hoping that the victory will get him a title shot against new welterweight kingpin Johny Hendricks. Woodley talks about all of the UFC welterweight contenders and doesn't hold anything back in discussing why he should be the number one contender.

Greg Jackson joins us to talk about UFC 171 and how severe Condit's injury is. He will also discuss Woodley, Holly Holm, Jon Jones and his upcoming bout against Glover Teixeira and Diego Sanchez. We will also ask Jackson about his plans to roll out an MMA belt system similar to the ones used in BJJ, Karate, etc.

Tune in live at 7pm EST.

Show 71 w/ Nam Phan, Ben Saunders, Will Campuzano, Jen Palaszewski

    in MMA

Show 71 and the wheels keep on turning and the guest list stays stacked! Just so you know what your about to read is no different then any other week. The guests are the top of the MMA Food Chain and all good people, so get ready for another huge show.

Nam is back before the last episode of the season. We've been blessed to have Nam on the show as the dude is nothing short of a great guy! I am happy to call him a friend and want to thank him for being our go to Nam (ha-ha) for this season of The Ultimate Fighter. Nam has a huge fight coming up on Wed. against Michael Johnson on the fight to make it to the season finale final fight! GSP is saying that Nam is a more technical fighter, but he believes that Michael Johnson will win. Nam has been shocking people all year and I don't think this fight will be any different. Do we see Nam in the final or does his season stop short? Tune in to the Ultimate Fighter season 12 on Spike TV Wed. night.

Next we have on Ben Saunders who also spent his time inside the TUF house. Ben was in the house Serra vs. Hughes season and made it to the semi-finals. Ben won his finale fight that season and continued his career in the UFC. Ben has since had 6 fights inside the UFC with his last fight outside the promotion. Ben has wrecked two opponents with his brutal Thai Clinch and I am sure they would agree... Dude is a beast when he has his hands around your neck. We will talk to Ben about stepping up to fill spots against top competition, his time in the TUF house, what it feels like to break a man down with knees and much more.

Go to www.fisttacuff.com for the complete write up and tune into the show at 2pm pst. Also get over to www.fighthubtv.com for our co-host Marcos' sick interviews! Don't sleep on this show!

Show 75 WEC Farewell Show W/ Eddie Wineland, Bart Palaszewski, Scott Jorgensen, & Anthony Pettis

    in MMA

Yeah we’re back for show 75 and with the WEC dissolving we had to grab the biggest stars and put them on one show, to say goodbye to the WEC. This is a show you wont want to miss as we have on a past champ, two guys counting down the days till they get their shot at the gold, and one guy who very well could be next in line!

Our first guest is the Ex-WEC Champ, and looking to make his way back to the belt. Eddie Wineland is who I’m talking about for those of you still guessing and he’s coming to us riding a three fight win streak. His last fight against Will Campuzano ended with Eddie walking out the building with KO of the night honors. Eddie is fighting on the last WEC Card against, Ken Stone in what could spell KO of the night honors yet again for Eddie. We will talk to the previous Champ about having his opponent changed in his last 4 fights, becoming the champ and losing the belt, the merger and much more.

Bart Palaszewski is coming back for his second round with the barber shop. (We just had on Bart’s bad ass wife two weeks ago, so make sure to check that out.) Bart is coming of a 2nd round KO of Zachary Micklewright at WEC 50, which makes 4 in a row for the Bartimus (one of those being #1 Contender Anthony Pettis.) Bart is fighting Kamal Shalorus at the last WEC event. This fight was supposed to go down at WEC 52, but with a hand injury suffered by Kamal the fight was moved to the final WEC Card. We will talk to Bart about having Jens Pulver around, his upcoming fight and what it does mentally to a fighter to have his fight postponed, his BAD ASS wife, the new COD, and much more.

Get over to www.fisttacuff.com for the rest of the write up!
The show starts at 2pm PST, you can tune in directly at www.fisttacuff.com or www.fighthubtv.com and make sure to get over to FIGHT HUB TV to check out all the interviews Marcos has been putting work in on. Remember WE DON’T PULL PUNCHES
