Elected MP for Glasgow Hillhead in 1987. Expelled from the Labour Party in 2003 over his stance on Iraq, and the following year co-founded the Respect Party. Won Bethnal Green in 2005 election, but at the 2010 election lost out in Poplar and Limehouse. This week he won Bradford West. Galloway opposed the 1991 gulf war and was critical of the effect that the subsequint santions had on the people of Iraq. In a 28 March 2003 interview that Tony Blair and George W. Bush had "lied to the British Air Force and Navy, when they said the battle of Iraq would be very quick and easy. They attacked Iraq like wolves. ..." and added, "... the best thing British troops can do is to refuse to obey illegal orders. This incitement was later among the formal reasons for his expulsion from the Labour Party. He called the Labour Government "Tony Blair's lie machine
In May 2005, a US Senate committee report accused Galloway along with former French minister Charles Pasqua of receiving the right to buy oil under the UN's oil-for-food scheme. On arriving in the US, he told Reuters, "I have no expectation of justice from a group of Christian fundamentalist and Zionist activists." Galloway described Coleman as a "pro-war, neocon hawk and the lickspittle of George W. Bush," who, he said, sought vengeance against anyone who did not support the war in Iraq.
in The Bible
Called the "fastest hour in radio", Red Letter Edition - WEEKDAYS! makes short work of understanding the Bible. You'll be constantly challenged to verify your beliefs in a way that will ultimately result in a living and lasting relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Logic and intellectual honesty are not ignored; rather, these characteristics are encouraged in Don's theological discussions.
On Sundays, look for Red Letter Edition - LIVE! This provocative show is an open forum, call-in show, with a chat room that's always alive with questions and discussion.
Thursday, October 2nd, 2014, at 6:00 - 8:00AM EST, on my Blog radio show, "Philosopher Vortex:"
"Part One: The Legal Prosecution of a Great Scientist, Dr. Wilhelm Reich, in the U.S.A."
This segment of "Philosopher Vortex" will analyze the case of Dr. Wilhelm Reich and his prosecution by the Food and Drug Administration. The Host, Steven J. Katz, is a lawyer and philosopher. He will explore the deep issues of jurisprudence and society revealed by this case, and its ongoing relevance for the legal system.
The tragedy of this case will also be analyzed from the perspective of an experienced litigator and an alternate way it could have been handled if Dr. Reich had employed a lawyer throughout the proceedings, from the initial complaint going forward. It is highly recommended that those who intend to listen and call-in to the show watch the recent film "The Strange Case of Wilhelm Reich." It is posted on youtube and can be watched without charge. Also recommended, is the excellent work "Wilhelm Reich vs. The U.S.A." by Jerome Greenfield (N.Y., W W Norton Company, 1974). See also, recent books: "In Defense of Wilhelm Reich: Opposing the 80-Years' War of Mainstream Defamatory Slander Against One of the 20th Century's Most Brilliant Physicians and Natural Scientists" by Dr. James DeMeo, PhD.(Ashland Oregon, USA, Natural Energy Works, 2013); and "Wilhelm Reich & The Cold War" by James Edward Martin (Ashland Oregon, USA, Natural Energy Works, 2014).

Russia threatens to retaliate against U.S. military, World Health Org, says: No Ebola vaccine before mid-2015 ISIS threatens to gas British troops in Iraq: Soldiers ordered to carry chemical suits, and so much more
After discovering that Muhammad Ali reunited with the athletes that supported him during his stand against the United States Government to hold on to his beliefs in not fighting in the Vietnam War, I was pondered if today's current crop of profit driven athletes would risk it all to back another individual on an unpopular stand.

Oliver C. Brown (sometimes credited as Oliver Brown) is an American percussionist, born December 1, 1946, in Berkley, CA. Brown was one of the original members of KC and The Sunshine Band. For four decades, Brown has played with a wide array of artists, from Natalie Cole to Jermane Jackson.
Brown's first big break came in Florida with TK Records as their in house percussionist. He recorded and/or toured with most of their artists. Following this, he became one of the original members of KC and The Sunshine Band as they recorded their 1974 debut album Do It Good, followed by the album KC and The Sunshine Band, which featured their first number one hit on the Billboard charts, "That's The Way (I Like It)."
In the late 1970's early 1980's, Brown was priviledged to record and tour with such artists as Jermaine Jackson, The Whispers, Larry Vann, Billy Preston. Leo Sayer, Al Jarreau, Natalie Cole, Thelma Houston and many more recording artists with Warner Brothers, Capitol Records, and Motown.
Eventually he became the third member of the trio Gravity 180, which he considers to be his greatest artistic achievement to date. Brown has stated that the group has given him the opportunity to express percusission in a way that could be said to be a percussionists' dream. Brown also performs with Nils, a Billboard #1 Smooth Jazz artist and has done so on all of Nils' albums. He continues to perform with Nils and Gravity 180, as well as with other prominent artists from around the world.
Brown was featured in Gravity 180, the 2012 documentary film about the group, written, directed, co-produced, and edited by two-time awarding filmmaker Len Rosen. The film was a featured documentary at the Monaco Film Festival in May 2012, and was granted an Honarary award.
