It is a well-known fact that smoking reduces fitness. It does this in a number of ways, chiefly by reducing the amount of oxygen available in the body. Since oxygen plays a major role in energy production, even a minor depletion has an impact on physical performance.
MAJOR EFFECTS OF SMOKING ON FITNESS
David Pyne, an Australian sports physiologist, lists the major effects of smoking on the body's respiratory and circulatory system as follows:
High levels of carbon monoxide from smoking reduce the amount of oxygen absorbed into the blood from the lungs.
Carbon monoxide in the blood also reduces the amount of oxygen that is released from the blood into the muscles.
Smoke inhalation has an immediate effect on respiration, increasing airways resistance and therefore reducing the amount of oxygen absorbed into the blood.
Smoking causes chronic (or long-term) swelling of mucous membranes, which also leads to increased airways resistance.
Smoking increases the heart rate for a given level of exercise.
CARBON MONOXIDE - THE MAIN OFFENDER
Carbon monoxide, the same lethal gas which is released by motor vehicle exhausts, is present in cigarette smoke and is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream.

When counseling is complete, coaching can take us to the next level. What is possible once we’ve healed our past wounds? What does our life get to be now?
Sheila Walty is a counselor, professional life coach and the founder of Create Change, which offers counseling services as well as business coaching, life coaching, retreats, workshops and skill training. Proactive and results-oriented, Sheila works with people who are motivated for change.
“The reason for the name Create Change is that’s what we do,” says Sheila. “If life isn’t going the way you want, we work together to proactively create the changes you want to see in your life.”
As a counselor, Sheila specializes primarily in trauma. According to Sheila, trauma memory is stored differently than our other memories; instead of the memory being stored as a movie in your mind, it’s more like a slide show. This can Ieave people with the feeling that they can’t trust what they remember.
“I see trauma as something that can be healed,” says Sheila. “You need to express to the client that you understand where they are and where they are is fine no matter where it is. It’s important to instill hope.”
As a coach, Sheila focuses on teaming up with you to create a path and guidance toward whatever goals you want to accomplish.

As we see what's taken place we must rise up and pray. 1 John 3:8c says... The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus Christ has given us authority in His name to do the same works. Jesus says in Luke 10:19..Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
Hebrews 4:16..says Therefore let us draw near withconfidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
We are the Body of Christ we are Jesus' hands and feet in the earth. We are His Spiritual Intelligence Agents (SIA) on earth.

Samiyyah Saafir-Muhammad was born Jacqueline Glover in New York City in 1951. After spending her early years in foster care, moving four times before the age of three, she settled in with her aunt, following her father’s passing.
While still in elementary school Samiyyah took an interest in helping other students do well, joining “The Future Teachers’ Club” in the fifth grade. As a high school student, Samiyyah became aware her people’s struggle for freedom—witnessing civil rights demonstrations, protests, assassinations and riots—and decided she wanted to help somehow. It was in this atmosphere that she went off to Northeastern University in Boston where she majored in Education. Her stay there was short-lived, however, as she was introduced to the teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and thereafter joined the Nation of Islam. Within the Nation of Islam’s Muhammad University, Samiyyah underwent educational training and worked as a teacher’s assistant.
Since 2005, Samiyyah has had the privilege of serving as the Directress at Muhammad University of Islam in Atlanta, which serves students from Pre-K to the eighth grade. She has been blessed to carry on the 84-year educational tradition, which was started by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his brave followers in the 1930’s.
A widow after 35 years of marriage, Samiyyah presently enjoys the blessing of her and her husband’s nine children: six sons and three daughters, all of whom attended or are attending HBCUs. Samiyyah has been a mother to not only her nine children, but also to her two stepchildren, her nieces and nephews, her eight grandchildren and countless other children and adults in the community who come to her for advice, wisdom and guidance. Affectionately called MamaMiyyah, Samiyyah’s house is never empty
