RTR: Churchianity; Who Are You Serving?

    in Christianity

What exactly is churchianity? Is it different from Christianity? Can you tell the difference between the two? When you serve in the church, are you really serving God? Being an armor bearer, cleaning the church, mowing the lawn and things of that nature; can they be considered serving or working for God? Is your faith in Christ, or church? Join RTR this and every Sunday at 10am EST. To listen live, call 661.449.9951.

Yesterday I came across a quote by the pope of the Catholic Church it goes like this, "When these small groups are created within the community of God's people, these people believe they are being good Christians and also are acting in good faith maybe, but they are small groups who have privatized salvation." Today I would like to discuss this quote and what it means for evangelicals and salvation, link to blog

    Denise Griffitts Interviews Kimanzi Constable

I first interviewed author Kimanzi Constable in November of 2012 on Your Partner In Success Radio. He had written and self-published a little book called "Tales of the Everyday Workingman (and Woman)" that he sold an incredible 70,000 copies of (as of that interview date.) For 12 years he worked at a job that he absolutely hated. So much so that his days were consumed with thoughts of quitting. But as a family man with a wife and children to support, that was just not an option.

Things came to a breaking point in the summer of 2011. He was over $180,000 in debt, his marriage was falling apart, and his children barely knew him because he was always working. The cherry on the cake was that he was 170 pounds overweight.

In the back of his mind he had a dream of being a writer. How could that be possible, a guy with no college degree become a writer? More than that, he wanted freedom!

Three years ago Kimanzi finally got fed up enough to stop existing and to do something about his dream. He decided to stop listening to all those things keeping him from a life that he and his family truly deserved.

Today he is a contributing writer for The Huffington Post, Entrepreneur Magazine, and Mind Body Green. He is a business editor at The Good Men Project. His mission is to help men and women create true freedom in life.

Today we are going to pick up the threads on Kimanzi's tale and find out how he lost 170 pounds and moved his family to Maui, Hawaii. We are going to find out how he came so far, so fast, and how you can as well. Yes, you can do that!

The Naked Truth: Do Guys Want Women Who Keep it Kinky?

    in Culture

A global study done by Dove claims that only 10% of women feel proud of their curls. For years, women have been resorting to hair straighteners and chemicals to alter their natural curls and kinky textures to achieve that sleek, red carpet look. But how do their men feel?  We will talk to a panel of men who are privy to the new natural hair movement and the International Keep it Kinky Day on February 21. We'll get inside the heads of NY real estate agent Tony Harris, media executive Kori Raishon, chef and business owner Damian Perrin and hair stylist London Free to discuss their style, beauty and hair preferences in women.

Talk radio host managing editor of NEWD Magazine Tiffani Knowles and Crystal Dundas will gab about trends, music, faith and much more for this half-hour show.

However, there are many who don't and I will discuss how they can get love into their life, money and so forth. This is not a spell.
