Breaking the Chains.....Is Education or Indoctrination happening in Schools?

    in Motivation

    I have a dream...Celebrating Our Jubilee!

Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Civil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality.

So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our families and our communities? How will we show the power of LOVE in the world? How are we Leading Change?

Just over fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we, the residents of Detroit, are uniting to become a beacon of light and love to usher in greater transformation within our capacity to love that will impact this city, nation and the world. As Detroit goes, so does the nation.

Grass roots organizations and communities in Detroit are raising the bar on what's possible for us as Humans by elevating our consciousness to envision our lives as spirits in human form co-creating a world that reflects love, unity, compassion and Power. Find their destiny so you can powerfully play a role in Detroit's Re-birth that causes the world to notice!

Today, we are turning our discussion to our education system as school is resuming next week in our city. We want to encourage dialogue on what are the expectations for our children during their educational journey and how it translates to them becoming a part of society. What role is expected of them that is reflecting in the education they receive? Is it inclusive of the children's culture and societal experiences or is it a mirage of the life they have no hope of achieving? It's time to have this conversation.

Remember, we are powerful, and together we rise!

    Lady Sarah Grace-Prophetic Window-WOP Tele-Revival 2015

    in Women

Sarah Grace, best known as “Lady Grace” is living with POWER and fulfilling her PURPOSE, but it wasn’t always that way. Her radical testimony of deliverance out of darkness and into the light of Christ is nothing short of miraculous. After surrendering her life to Christ in her early twenties, Lady Grace became deeply involved in the work of ministry immediately. She has held many titles and positions over the years but would desire to be known as a servant of the Lord above them all. She is the founder of Exousia Life Ministries, the owner of Exousia Life enterprises as well as a self-published author and national speaker. Her following is growing quickly as the Lord continues to open doors for her testimony and her ministry.  On a personal level, Lady Grace is the proud mother to seven children whom she homeschools.

    Ecclesia, The Church or Not

    in Christianity

The word "ecclesia" has nothing to do with religion or worship of any deity. What then does it mean? Why did Jesus use this terminology when speaking to his disciples? Why were the disciples confused about his true purpose in the earth? We are going to answer these questions and more on this week's Waves of Glory. Join us right here on Waves of Glory on blogtalk radio. Whatand awesome revelation we are goin to be discussing. We have had it wrong for so many years and that one little error has stifled the Church of the living God. We're taking back the truth about who we really are. See you there.

January Jones-Diva In the Dugout-Arlene Hittle

    in Books

But she’s been a writer since second grade. That was when she started filling her great-grandpa’s giant sketchbook with story after story — most of them about little girls who found puppies, because she wanted one. She didn’t get that puppy until she was out on her own. She did, however, know early on that she wanted to entertain others with her fiction.

With three books published by Turquoise Morning Press (Diva in the Dugout, Beauty and the Ballplayer and Sliding into Home) and two indie stories out there (Home for the Holidays and Blind Date Bride), that lifelong ambition is becoming reality.

    Meet Arlene Hittle:

She is a member of Northern Arizona Romance Writers of America and currently serves as the chapter’s president. She has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Evansville (Indiana) and has worked in the newspaper industry as a reporter or copy editor/page designer since 1994. After being laid off in September 2014, she’s  freelancing as a copy editor and proofreader.

    Transitions

    in Motivation

    Good day, good day everyone!

Today is Tuesday, September 1, 2015, and in this episode, I'm giving you some encouraging spoken word to think about throughout the day.

    Today we are in Transitions.

We are transitioning to a new level in our lives, and all you have to do, is STAY FOCUS!

Staying focus on a goal/thought with minimal distraction and manifesting/accomplishing those goals/thoughts NOW, is called DELIBERATE CREATION.

Yes, that is true. We can co-create and manifest the desires of our heart.

Remember, while you're going through this transitions; you are going to come across  some people that are doubters and nay-Sayers.

You have to keep it moving!! You must push through this experience!! Giving up is not an option!!!

Spoken Word: Transitions ~ poetry selection  from my book, Where Were You When I Needed You: A Poetic Memoir

    Have a terrific Tuesday!

    Remembering the LORD

    in Christianity

"Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. 14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you." Deuteronomy 6:13-14

We are told in Deuteronomy 6:12-13 that we are not to forget the LORD, and we are to fear Him. However, when a person or a whole nation forgets the LORD and no longer fears their Creator and begin to go after other gods, divine judgment is a guarantee {Deut.4:23-28}. Many in our day want to see the greatness of America restored, but are looking to a political party to restore "This Great Nation." Be not deceived the only way to come out of the coming judgment is through repentance, denying ourselves, picking up our crosses, and truly following Jesus acoording to His Word and ways {2 Chronicles 7:14; Matthew 16:24}.

Those who walk in the holy fear of God will not forget Him. Deuteronomy 8.

  • "In Other Words…" with International Etiquette Expert Grace Lee

    in Business

This was one of the more challenging and interesting interviews I've done, mostly because I disagree with much of what she had to say.  But my show is all about making you think, and this one certainly did that!

Grace Lee is an etiquette expert.  With one foot in Japan and the other in the United States, she founded Grace Lee International to help businesspeople with international etiquette.  What do you need to know when you are negotiating a deal with a Japanese firm?  And you may be surprised how much dining etiquette varies from one part of the world to another.  Some places, it's rude to leave food on your plate, in others it's rude not to.

But it was her views on a woman's job and who should raise the kids that's likely to be different from what you're used to.  Check it out.

  • All The Ways We Enable Fear!

    in Motivation

Fear is so socially accepted, such a part of the our lives that we really believe and live as though fear has a huge space in our lives and it is real and alive and something we have to face everyday. Yet fear is an energy that is the weakest energy for us to exchange energy with. So why do we give it such life and allow fear to be what leads the roads we try to walk on rather than walking on a road paved with love? There is a transformation that takes place in your soul when the space of your soul does not have to answer to fear over and over again. Tune in and Join in the Conversation Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST!
