In typical ‘Betsy Chasse’ style, Betsy tells it like it is in her new book, Tipping Sacred Cows. I love this book because it challenges all the ‘spiritual teachings’ that we have heard about happiness, love, and spirituality. Of course, the irony of this book is that these challenges/questions are coming from the ‘mother’ of spirituality. Most of us know Betsy best as being one of the producers of the award-winning film, What the Bleep Do We Know?! If you are unfamiliar with this film, it is probably one of the quintessential pieces of work that explores the connection between quantum physics and consciousness.
On our show, we're going to talk about Betsy's latest journey through divorce and the spiritual questions that it sparked. Speaking of being a mom, Betsy is the mom to two children, Elora and Max. We're going to question and, maybe, answer some of life's greatest questions. What a tremendous honor to welcome Betsy Chasse.

This is a special episode combining Marie's "Synchronicity" Talk Radio for Your Mind, Body & Soul" and Laurel's "Illuminating Souls."
Dr. Joe has agreed to be a guest on Synchronicity but he isn't available at the time of Marie's show. Rather than pre-record a conversation just between Dr. Joe and Marie, we've decided to invite the Illuminating Souls audience to participate in the show! This show will air live on Blog Talk, and then be played again on Synchronicity a couple days later. So please join in the conversation!
Dr. Dispenza is probably best known as one of the scientists, researchers, and teachers featured in the award winning film, “What the BLEEP Do We Know!?” where he discussed how a person can create their day.
Dr. Joe was able to heal himself from a debilitating spinal injury through intention and visualization. His new book, Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind connects the subjects of thought and consciousness with the brain, the mind, and the body. The book explores “the biology of change.” That is, when we truly change our mind, there is a physical evidence of change in the brain. As an author of several scientific articles on the close relationship between the brain and the body, Dr. Dispenza ties information together to explain the roles these functions play in physical health and disease.
Join us for this very exciting hour, combining the angelic energy of Illuminating Souls with the thought-provoking nature of Marie's "Synchronicity."
Dr. Joe will be speaking live in Vancouver, BC on February 5th & 6th, 2010. For info click here.

This episode is a continuation from last week where we began to discuss Sacretherapy and The Law of Attraction, and if we can really have what we want based on the claims from Dr. Kemp’s book; and the hit movie “The Secret” or What the Bleep Do We Know?” Dr. Kemp states the answer to that question is complex and asked listeners last week to review what they learned from Step One in her book about the “law of creation” as it relates to “energy, matter, and vibration” and will now move ahead this week with some specific “how to tools” from her book in Step Six on the “Pro-creation process;” which assures us that we can indeed create the happier versions of our lives that we always wanted. She states that many people are told they can live happier lives but are not told “how” and “why” it’s possible.

ENVISION THIS: It’s time to question your belief systems, to know that you don’t need to have all the answers, and that one size does NOT fit all!
Our guest, Betsy Chasse, says, “As I stand here knee deep in manure, finding my way to reclaiming myself, I’m going to share my version of finding your own capacity to live your life to your highest potential, even while cleaning up cat vomit, carpooling, and waiting in line at the post office.” She identifies herself first and foremost as a mom, “with two wonderful kids, Elora and Max. They are the light of my life and my world revolves around them! We love to garden, paint, create and cause as much of a rumpus as we can together.”
She is probably more familiar to many of our listeners as co-creator of the film, credited with co-writing, co-directing and producing. What The Bleep Do We Know?!
Her new book, Tipping Sacred Cows, and our interview with her have to do with all she has learned and unlearned since that achievement: “It’s time to tip some sacred cows about what we think we know about spirituality, reality, and ourselves. It’s time to get liberated from the fences we’ve put up and frolic once again through the pasture of life, realizing that stepping in cow shit is not always such a bad thing. That happiness is not a destination but a state of mind and you’re already there if you’re willing to just do a little work to uncover your true bliss, your happy mojo, that creamy cream that exists in the middle of you!” Betsy has some wonderful insights on finding your own spiritual path in today's hectic world.
