    Casey Weston Live

    in Military

Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, Casey Weston. Casey is recognized as one of the young stars whose combination of talent, personality and charisma helped launch the hit television show The Voice. While on the voice Casey was called “little Stevie Nicks” by pop music star Cee Lo Green; lauded by country music star Blake Shelton and told she was a musical “Bad Ass destined to be a star” by her coach and mentor Adam Levine. Casey has written, produced and released two albums; a self-titled release at the end of 2009 with 10 tracks and the second at the end of February of 2013; a 13 track album called Find the Moon. Both albums contain music & lyrics that Casey wrote or co-wrote. Both albums are available through iTunes, CD Baby and other popular digital & physical music distribution outlets. In 2015 Casey is releasing the single Fallin for a Lie, and then her next full album, Young Heart. Casey may be young but her work ethic and performance experience help her project a welcome balance of youthful energy and a road-tested touring musician and performer. We will talk to Casey about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Casey Weston at http://caseyweston.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with Casey during the show (718) 766-4193. Interview with artist Parker-Weston

    in Art

"At times, my skull feels it can no longer contain my thoughts. Now I know why monks drill holes in their heads, to air out.

I reside in what is voted the most conservative big city in the United States, Mesa, Arizona. A concrete welcome-to-anywhere that is built on top of the desert like our human brains extending from mammal and reptile ones. When I was a child, an overpaid psychic told my mother that I would be a writer someday. I was very relieved later she was spared the news that along the way I would become a shop janitor and backpacking drifter before this writing business ever came into play.

Applying the collage or cut-up technique to every facet of my life as possible and letting my subconscious fill in the concepts, I collect refuse of reality to exercise general daily awareness. At times, I feel this is why I do not dream, or at least cannot remember dreaming; spent on lucidity by the time the lights go out. I feel more reactive than creative. I do not wish for any visual harmony between my pieces. They are all my children and they are constantly screaming for each of their fifteen minutes."
