Nichelle Colvin, born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She wrote her first 3 songs, which became Billboard award winning songs as a sophomore in college. "Hold On", "Yaweh" and "What turns you on" Her first album project "Circular Soul" was a midwest compilation album of artist in which she wrote a song "Picture That" which would later become on the the songs added to her first album Project "Relations 1". Not only did this album sell out, but it also got her, her first licensing deal in the UK with a label called "Street Cultrue Records". This would not be Nichelle's only deal in the UK, which is where her biggest fan base seems to be. Her Sophomore Project, "Millenaire", which is still available on i-tunes as well as the internet and some stores got her another deal with a label called, "Cafedesoul Records". Cafedesoul decided to take a few songs from her first and second album and call it "Language of Love" which is also available on the web. This brings us up to the present. this singer/songwriter is working on her 4th Album called "Soulfully Yours, Nichelle"
Nichelle has sung on numerous projects. One in particular , "A Call to Courage," received national recognition when Darron McKinney (soprano saxophone) and Nichelle Colvin performed the composition at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Candlelight Vigil held in Washington, DC May of 2001. There, the two artists mesmerized 18,000 law enforcement officers and the families and friends of America's fallen law officers. Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and Sen. Trent Lott were among the attending.
JENNIFER ORN I have lived all over the country. I was born in MN and due to my father’s job (Federal Bureau of Prison’s) we moved around a lot. Virginia, California, Alabama, Pennsylvania and Tennessee are all on the list. When I was approximately 16, we ended up back in MN. I’ve also briefly lived in TX and OK as an adult. I received a softball scholarship out of high school to a DII school in MN. After being there for one semester, I realized it wasn’t for me. So, I enlisted in the MN Air National Guard. After completing AF basic training I completed the AF Security Forces Academy. A few months after completing all of my training I returned to my home station in St. Paul, MN. I was then sent to Desert Warfare Training with others from my unit and ultimately deployed for 6 months to Saudi Arabia. After I returned home, I continued my college education. I received my A.S. in Law enforcement and got hired on with a local police department (WI). I attended the WI State Law Enforcement Academy and I worked at that department for a little over 3 years. I ended up leaving that department to pursue a few other things. I ultimately ended up at another department in central MN. After being at this department for almost 2 years, I decided to resign.I am currently a professional dog trainer and animal behavior specialist. I attended a dog training school in TX and will be starting an internship at a dog training facility in another part of TX. I have already started my LLC (Liberty K9 LLC), and am just waiting to return home to get that going full swing.I have 3 awesome dogs, a wonderful boyfriend.
