Throughout the American Church (in general) & many churches throughout the world have employed a form of evangelism which has been termed "Friendship" Evangelism. You could even make a good case that it reaches further into pragmatism. The question is, is it actually biblical to employee worldly, practical venues and measure to reach people, not so much with the gospel, but the church. Joining me on this episode of Gospel Alliance Radio will be Steve Bauer of Watersource Chapel & Ministries. As they (Watersource Chapel) have preached through the Book of Acts, we at Sovereign Grace Church are currently going through the book of Acts, it has become more and more glaring this issue of pragmatism in his eyes and mine as well. But the question remains, is it biblical? With that question in mind, we will go to the Word of GOD and see what HE has to say...what does GOD call us to do as the "Called Out Ones' regarding the church and non-believers.
Having spent time ministering with brother Steve, it was/is evident to see the love he has for the LORD JESUS and his neighbor...this being manifested in the gospel going forth. I am excited to re-unite with him for this broadcast! I hope you will join in and be a part of the program. See you then/there. Glory to GOD! Worthy is the LAMB!

Announcing The Word broadcast is a the weekly bible study offered by Gene Tatum of Among Friends Cowboy Ministries, the evangelistic outreach in Eastern Texas near Nacogdoches. Gene was a Rodeo Announcer for some 30 years in TX, LA, MS, AK and NC. He and his wife Pam often provided "Cowboy Church" in the Arena before or after the events they worked. As an announcer they were also called on to MC other Equestrian Events, Dog Shows, Ranch Rodeos, Team Ropings, etc. In August 2011 during a rodeo, Gene had a heat stroke at the microphone during the performance. With the assistance of the paramedics (his wife being one of them) he finished the show. He was taken to his motel room and there the Lord spoke to his heart that "he was done" as a rodeo announcer and that he was to go fulltime into the ministry. Announcing the Word Ministries then became "AMONG FRIENDS COWBOY MINISTRIES." A riding arena is under construction and will be ready in the spring to teach "Life's Lessons" by demonstrations on horseback and natural situations in the western way of life. AFCM is an active member of the International Cowboy Church Alliance Network (ICCAN). Come ride the trail with us as we study God's Word in truth and Spirit.

"Honor Thy Mother" is a discussion about care-givers who care for their elderly and/or ailing parents. Did you know that over 65.7 million Americans currently provide care for a family member or loved one, according to the National Alliance for Caregiving, and 36% of those are caring for an elderly parent? As baby boomers begin to retire, those numbers are poised to keep growing.
Families are taking the lead role as caregivers for aging adults who need help handling their affairs or caring for themselves. Providing this kind of assistance to an aging parent can be stressful and challenging. Are you ready for the demands, responsibilities – and rewards – of becoming a family caregiver?
Join Dweynie Paul who has been caring for her 78-year old mother for 10 years, and Carolyn Dinnold who has been caring for her 90-year old mother for 9 years. Together, they will provide insight and understanding into what it means to live life as a care-giver. We will discuss the preparation process, challenges, creating a balanced life, parent-child role reversal and more. Learning how to prepare for this change is one vital aspect of coping.

THURSDAY ON NORTH FLORIDA WRITER WE'LL ONCE AGAIN TALK REPUBLICAN POLITICS. MY REGULAR GUEST MARK COLLIER WILL JOIN ME AS WE TRY TO UNDERSTAND IFTHE UNLIKELY ALLIANCE BETWEEN TED CRUZ AND JOHN KASICH IS REAL AND POSSIBLY A GAME CHANGER OR IS IT ALREADY FIZZLING. DONALD TRUMP, OF COURSE, HAD A BIG NIGHT TUESDAY IN THE NORTHEAST, SWEEPING ALL FIVE PRIMARY CONTESTS BY HUGE MARGINS. BUT THE NEXT BIG TEST COMES UP NEXT TUESDAY IN INDIANA, A MUST WIN STATE FOR CRUZ BUT POLLS CURRENTLY SHOW TRUMP AHEAD. AND WHILE AFTER ESTABLISHING A QUESTIONABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH CRUZ, KASICH THEN SAID THAT HE WOULD STILL ASK HIS VOTERS IN THE HOOSIER STATE TO VOTE FOR HIM ANYWAY. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? BUT AFTER ALL IT'S THE WORLD OF POLITICS, FOLKS, IN A VERY UNUSUAL YEAR SO DON'T BE SURPRISED AT ANYTHING THAT COULD HAPPEN. AND WHATEVER THE END GAME, LIBERTY LOVERS OF ALL PERSUASIONS NEED TO COME TOGETHER IN THE END TO INSURE THAT HILLARY CLINTON DOES NOT BECOME PRESIDENT. MORE TAXES, LESS FREEDOM AND EDICTS FROM A MORALLY BANKRUPT PRESIDENT WOULD BE THE END RESULT. WE AS A NATION LIKELY CAN'T SURVIVE MORE OF WHAT WE'VE HAD FOR MUCH OF THE LAST GENERATION. THIS WE ALL NEED TO UNDERSTAND. THE SHOW GOES LIVE AT 10 AM AND THEN WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE ON DEMAND. HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US.
TVUH Global is back to look at a rogue state that routinely escapes sanction and real criticism for their aggression. Erdogan's Turkey. Member of NATO, outsider to the EU, antagonist of Russia & Iran, proven supplier and customer of Daesh, oppressor & murderer of citizens, journalists and critics. With a true megalomaniac in charge.
What happens when a Canadian citizen and freelance photographer asks his government to explain the double standard towards Turkey? He gets dealt typical boilerplate that could have come from NATO headquarters. "Sunny Ways" seems to blind Ottawa where Erdogan is concerned.
What happens when chemical weapons are used in Syria? The claims fly that it had to be Assad killing his own people. That is until evidence surfaces that Daesh got them via Turkey. Were they payment for some of the Syrian or Iraqi oil that Turkey is moving for Daesh? Via Erdogan's son no less.
What happens when the domestic & international press find too much truth or ask too many inconvenient questions? In Erdogan's Turkey, newspapers are seized, editors & bureau chiefs are jailed, TV stations get dropped from satellite delivery, reporters get locked up or killed. Allies say nothing.
What happens when the Turkish military say they are fighting Daesh but bomb, siege and kill Kurdish populations? So far in the nearly two years it's been happening, not much.
Serena Shim paid the ultimate price for her truth about Turkey. The View Up Here will always #SpeakSassysTruth
Joining the show are Joshua Gillis @shotgun91 to discuss Canada's weak stance on Turkey and returning is @TimBestbudz for information on the May 1 global action for #OpSerenaShim. We will dissect all these issues and more as we look at Erdogan's blind drive to Ottoman resurgence.
Tune in, join the chat, call in and contribute. Or just listen, strength in numbers.
Rev. Trisha Iolana discusses with us her research into the significance of Junian and post-Jungian theory to the development of the Western Goddess Movement in our show tonight titled, Jung and Goddess in the 21st Century. We'll examine the major contributors to the feminist revision of Jung, if Goddess is purely immanent (found within) as a psychological archetype, what impact Jung had on Western contemporary religions outside Goddess Traditions and what Quantum Physics have to do with Jung and Goddess. That's not all, because Trisha will also delve into "Goddess Consciousness" and the importance of interfaith and intrafaith dialogues.
