For decades, the Black and Hispanic communities have been targeted by Race pimps and Democrats eager to hold on to power and control over the people. Making promise after promise, offering more and more money, these people have successfully created a culture of dependency and unrealistic expectation. From our Education system to the Justice Department's attempt to take over State's jurisdiction, we have allowed ourselves to become slaves to the government. Some people don't want to remove the blinders because it's easier to ignore reality. We'll talk about this and more on my last Thursday Night program. Call in to share your thoughts...

Therapist Jef Gazley willl be our special guest speaker on this rebroadcast show. His statement on Co-Dependency is this: The definition of co-dependence is the tendency to desperately attempt to take care of other people to such an extent that the needs of the caretaker are ignored. Codependency was first identified by working with alcoholic families in the early 1980’s while noticing how the mates of chemically dependent people parented their partners. Codependency was first thought to occur only as a reaction to someone in the family being addicted. It is now known that co-dependence also results from growing up in a dysfunctional family of any type. These families often emotionally abandon their children and shame them. These children react by trying to become perfect, control everything, and “fix” their parents and later their spouse and children in the hope that they will be loved and gain approval. The passage of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) in 1996 changed the way the federal government finances cash welfare to low-income families. Instead of a matching grant, states receive a set amount of federal funds in the form of a block grant with no adjustments for inflation, caseload numbers, or state spending. Social assistance programs, however, tend to experience increased demand in recessions – more people require assistance from the government during difficult economic times. To meet increased demand, states have to increase spending, but recessions usually bring lower revenues to states, requiring some cuts to discretionary spending. Analysts were concerned that PRWORA’s change to a block grant would jeopardize social spending during times of state fiscal stress and cause states to disproportionately cut welfare spending during recession.
Why does poverty exist for White people? Fathers not being in the homes. White fathers? Black fathers? Hispanic fathers? Asian fathers? Whose homes are the fathers in? Are there children in those homes taking advantange of someone else's father and those children, and those households are not in poverty because a man lives there? People in the homes are too lazy to work? Families in poverty have never witnessed work ethics and they grow up depending on a welfare system that has gone broke?
Almost without exception -- all of us are addicted to something. You may say, "Not me! I have no dependency on alcohol or drugs... I don't overeat or smoke... I have no issues with gambling or overindulgence in sex, so how could I be an addict?"
In fact, most of us have at least one addiction, whether we know it or not. The reason we may not know we are an addict is that the definition of addiction is really way too narrow in scope. I believe that anything we are dependent on to give us a payoff is a form of addiction. The ego knows no boundaries in creating all kinds of addictions because the world of physical senses is the ego's playground.
On the program I will explain the many ways we create our addictions and I will offer some solutions to overcome them. And also -- I'll tell you about my own personal addiction that nearly killed me.
And don't forget...if you have a dream you would like me to interpret, please call in during the show.
