Do you have your Poodle Hat on to cover that Bad Hair Day?
Are you ready to have some Mandatory Fun?
If so... great! Because the MHOD crew are coming Straight Out Of Lynwood and going Off The Deep End to bring you a Metal Hammer of Doom on one of the most prominent parody artists of our time... Weird Al Yankovic.

The album includes a hilarious take on Pharrell's "Happy" as well as featuring parodies of Lorde's "Royals," Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," plus Al's own "style parodies" of the Pixies and Cat Stevens.
In addition to the album, Weird Al is releasing videos for several of the songs this week. Tune in to find out more!
About Weird Al:
Few would have guessed that "Weird Al" Yankovic, who as a shy, accordion-playing teenager got his start sending in homemade tapes to the Dr. Demento Radio Show, would go on to become the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history with over 12 million album sales. Now entering his fourth career decade, he has won 3 Grammys (with 14 nominations) and countless awards.
In addition to his recordings and world-famous music videos, Yankovic is also well-known for his cult-hit feature film UHF (1989), his late ‘90s CBS Saturday morning series The Weird Al Show and the numerous AL-TV specials that he’s made for MTV and VH1 over the years. With release of his children’s book When I Grow Up (HarperCollins, 2011), Al added "New York Times Bestselling Author" to his resume. An app version of the book for the iPhone and iPad, which recently won a Webby Award, is also available. His follow-up to this title was My New Teacher and Me! , released June, 2013.
Weird Al, along with his band of three decades, has performed over 1,000 career concerts and continues to tour with his rock and comedy multimedia show throughout the world.

Weird and Wacky Laws
Let’s have some fun discussing the ridiculous, outdated and just almost-too-funny-to-be-true laws that exist in the US. This 30-minute show will be fun, and provide legal trivia that’s perfect for a water-cooler conversation or to stump your friends!
Just in the presenter’s home state of Florida:
The Florida State Constitution allows for freedom of speech, a trial by jury, and pregnant pigs to not be confined in cages.
Laws in Florida include:
It is illegal to sell your children.
It is considered an offense to shower naked.
You are not allowed to break more than three (3) dishes per day.
And in case you think it is ok to switch to breaking cups in Florida, be aware: chip the edges of more than four cups or saucers, and you are breaking the Law!
Keep in mind that this radio show is for entertainment... it is not advisable using the mentioned laws as evidence in court, unless you'd like the judge to laugh you into jail!
The Presenter is “LADY LAWYER LIVE,” Cynthia Rignanese. Ms. Rignanese has been practicing law in the city of Winter Haven in Central Florida since 1990. Her practice focuses on estate planning, business, corporate and real property law. She can be reached live on the air. Following the show, her office number is 863/294-1114.

Al-anon can help families trying to understand drug and alcohol addiction and get their loved ones to quit. Al-anon uses the 12 steps to teach family members about addiction and to train us to avoid enabling the addiction. We learn to love the addict but to HATE their addiction.
Members of Al-anon also act as sponsors who are readily available to answer any questions that come up while we're trying to help our loved ones to end their drug addiction. How do we get them to stop using and go into treatment is the most common problem that Al-anon helps us to understand and address.
This week on Recovery now we discus how Al-anon works and why we benefit from it if we attend.
As-Salaam-Alaikum / God's Peace Upon You,
First, I must correct myself. When we aired the first show on this topic, I said that Baltimore's State's Attorney indicted without Grand Jury, the 6 officers in the death of Freddie Gray.
Now that the "ham sandwiches" will stand trial as charged, we need to further examine, what happened to Freddie Gray, before, during and after the altercation with the BPD, which led to his untimely death.
Clearly, there are many in the black community who are pleased with things thus far, viewing this as a sort of vindication for the disappointment of there being no indictments in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases.
On the other hand, the feeling has been expressed that Ms. Mosley levied the initial charges from a biased, unprincipled position, even suggesting a conflict of interest.
Is there reason to celebrate?
Is "justice" finally to be served?
In Waco, Texas, May 18th, at the Twin Peaks restaurant, a deadly shootout ensued, between two rival biker-gangs, the Banditos and Cossacks, in which 9 were killed and many, wounded.
Amidst the reports of further planned attacks, there are some in the black community who point to how the press seems to set a contrasting tone in how each party is described. Absent in the description of the bikers, was the word "thug".
How much time will the black community spend on this, in relation to that which we need to do, to repair ourselves and our communities, so that no one will ever have reason or purpose to so describe us?
Join us on Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m. Eastern time when our guest on Studio SPJ will be Brad Heath, a reporter with USA Today and the winner of the 2015 Al Nakkula award for police reporting.
Heath won the award for a series of stories in which he revealed how police and prosecutors nationwide had allowed nearly 200,000 fugitives to escape justice simply by crossing over state lines.
The series led authorities in at least four states to reconsider or reverse this policy.
The Nakkula award is named after the late Al Nakkula, a legendary cops and crime reporter for the Rocky Mountain News. The award is co-sponsored by The Denver Press Club and The University of Colorado's College of Media, Communication and Information.
This broadcastis co-sponsored by the Colorado chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
The podcast will feature the in depth analysis of the journey of the 2015 MLB season for the NY Yankees in action through one month and a half of the schedule. Is everything going according to plan?. Will it be through their pitching? Will the bats come alive this go around? What will they get from the controversial Alex Rodriguez if anything especially coming off the 162 game suspension. The Bleed Blue Show will be the lead off Yankees talk for the 2015 season talking Yanks from the front office to the bat boy and always the perspective of - the fan!
