    The Devil wears Timbs

    in Books

The Devil wears Timbs Author Tranay Adams Tranay Adams was born and raised on the Eastside of South Central, Los Angeles in a section known as The Low Bottomz. He discovered his love of writing in the fourth grade when he wrote an eight page short story called ‘Brandon.’ He didn’t realize until years later that the story he had written would be considered street-lit today. One day while bored, he picked up a pen and started writing on an empty Styrofoam food container. Slowly but surely his story began to manifest until it took on a life of its own and became his very first manuscript ever, Bury Me A G. Tranay pens raw and uncut street tales with a unique style that provokes emotions and makes you feel as if you’re right there beside his characters on their journeys. His novels are truly a movie in the form of a book. In 2014 Tranay signed with CA$H’S Lock Down Publications and released his debut novel, The Devil Wears Timbs July 23th 2014. He currently resides in Southern, California and is hard at work on his follow up novel, The Devil Wears Timbs II: Baptized in Unholy Waters.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH EVIL WHEN IT WEARS A HAPPY FACE?

    in Religion

We're living in a age when evil is called good and good is called evil. Both adults and children are being bombarded with evil that is presented in a good way. What do we do with such things? How do we react? What is proper in God's eyes?

    Couch Conversations ... Wellness

    in Motivation

This month we are diving into the mind, body, spirit triangle.

All 3 are connected and interdependent upon each other. If there is disharmony in one part it can lead to dis-ease in another part. Our thought life, our mental, or mindset is constantly under attack. Our physical bodies often display what is going on in our minds. And all of these things wears on your spirit. So this month we are focused on making improvements in how we think and what we think. We will explore detoxing, nutrition, and fitness. We will even be completing a popular 30 day fitness challenge. Please go to BAKI Facebook Page to join us.  For our Spirit we will be honest with ourselves, start or deepen mediations practices, and learn to listen to our bodies. Couch Conversations is an outreach of Blessed And Know It Ministries and is hosted by our Mindset Demolition Specialist and Motivational Speaker Jasheena Shelton a.k.a. "REVJ!!" Join our FB page or Google Plus so you can stay up to date with all that is going on with Blessed and Know It and Couch Conversations.   Go to our ever-growing website  www.bakiministries.wix.com/baki

EP 6: Maj. Corey Schultz Shares Career, Army Reserve Public Affairs & Transition

    in Military

I have been a Public Affairs Officer in the Navy and the Army for almost 17 years, two deployments, three continents, an aircraft carrier and a hospital ship, two Pentagon tours, detainee ops and last but certainly not least -- small unit management in the Army Reserve. It has been quite a journey! I remember most fondly the relationships with coworkers who became friends and the humanitarian assistance missions: Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the aftermath of the Pakistan earthquake in 2006.
