THE PERRY STEEL SHOW. “Why support Alternative Media?”

    in Politics

During my years as a Blogtalk Radio host, I used an alternative news media called BrassCheckTv which provides alternative news. In the many years I have used them they have never asked for money. But now because of the cost to produce and distribute the information, they need donations. I personally feel that we who strive for the truth should support each other. The weapons of deception are financial in nature. They know we do not have the revenue to maintain a high level of coverage. What they do not except is they are not the only source of information.

Daily I hear many who have been deceived by main stream media, and do not do the research behind the issues.  Listening to a recent interview the gentleman was asked about "Alternative news" and his reply was that you cannot make any money doing that, even if you are telling the real story. That is why tonight we'll play some of BrassCheckTv tapes and talk about how we can develop a system to support each other.

I have no doubt it will be hard, but we do not want a news media full of commercials. We must be listener supported with an open carpet for callers to express their views regularly. To ask questions and seek answers. To be informed on all level of issues, and to teach others knowledge which will enable them to know the truth. Tune in tonight and let's talk about how we can support each other.

    The Preppers Medicine Bag

    in Politics

On this episode of ‘The Smithfix’ we continue with Prepping and turn our attention to health and natural medicine.

Tonight we have a valued addition to We Resisters Radio, Brandi Medeina- Certified Nutritional Therapist and Herbalist.

Prepper Nutrition, Natural Medicine, Herbs…, this will be a great show.

Brandi moved to the wilds of the Pacific Northwest in 2004 from the foreign land of California. She escaped a long career in which she worked with two Fortune 500 companies, and one Fortune 100 company. What brought her north was an opportunity to purchase a small business in a small town which was where she wanted to raise her kids. Shortly after buying a small retail establishment that specialized in natural foods, and supplements, she recognized that she seemed to have an affinity for the retaining the knowledge that came her way.

In 2007 she attended classes and obtained a certification in Nutritional Therapy. This modality respects bio-individuality and encourages personal accountability for one’s health. Using symptom analysis, Kinesiology, and Lingual-Neural testing, she helps the individual identify nutritional deficiencies and assists in getting them back to optimal wellness.

Her passion is creation, the outdoors. Much of the time in the summer, she can be found in the woods, identifying medicinal plants, wild crafting and making her own medicines, salves and teas. After successfully home-schooling her children, she has now entered a new season, and is excited about sharing that with We Resisters Radio listeners.

  • Loki's Closet Taking A Look Back at 2014

    in LGBT

2014 has been an interesting and an exciting year for Loki.  In early November Loki opened his Closet to allow people into his thoughts and who he really is.

As with everything in life you can not have the good without also acknowledging the uncomfortable.  2014 played out that way as well with many celebrities coming out, to steps being made for equality, to things being done to just further strengthen negative stereotypes and harming our liberties.

Tune is Sunday, December 28th at 8:00 pm EST/ 5:00 pm PST to hear what Loki sees as the highlights and what the negatives were in 2014, on The We Resisters Radio Network.

Christmas exposed,International Affairs, Riots Across America‏

    in Politics

During the month of December I do a special show about the origins of Christmas.I have found this to be very successful in making Christians and other faiths realize that Jesus is not "the reason for the season".During my youth I had many questions to ask my parents concerning Christmas "their reply was "this is  what they do".They lie to themselves and their children about a big fat elf who flies around the world dropping off toys and gifts. If this were true, wouldn't it be better to drop off lasting peace between nations and families.Heal all pain and suffering, and restore earth's environment. The commercialization of Christmas is the topic tonight.

The true story about the Ukrainian crisis has been right in our faces the whole time. And most Americans don't know this is a war about a gas pipe line, which the contract for was broken and caused turmoil in the region. These reactions are dangerously close to a nuclear confrontation between the world's superpowers.A new twist has occurred and i'll tell you what it may means to America.

Riots across American are increasing, and multiple arrests of protesters are making the U.S. look like the nations overseas, who use military force against their own citizens.More deaths of black unarmed men are happening and the list grows on.A riot last night in Berkeley,California happened and the only way I found out about it was from an overseas news cast. CNN did not cover it right then.So listen to "We Resisters Radio" tonight and look for "The Perry Steele Show".Kick back and be informed about how we as a people, are knocking on the door of destruction, and somebody just turned the knob.

Loki's Closet: Things change, but can it be done without tragedy?

    in LGBT

Why does it seem that the only time people can unite together and take action to get something done or changed is through a major tragedy?

Are we that self centered, the me, me, me syndrome, that it takes devistation and lives lost to get us to wake up?  To get us to get back to the basic principle of helping each other out, before a simple task turns into shear fear, anger and panic?  Have we as a society become that blind, stupid and insensitive?

This week on "Loki's Closet" Loki will take a look at ten events that changed the LGTBQ community in 2014, he will look beyond the marriage equality to some of the challenges we will face in 2015 as well as looking back at two young lives cut short all because of ignorance, lack of compassion, understanding and just plain ass selfishness.

Tune into The We Resisters Radio Network Sunday night 8:00 pm EST/5:00 pm PST to hear Loki's thoughts.  Your voice, your opinions and insights can be heard by calling in at (347) 857-4397 or by using Skype

Dan Johnson is 21 years old, founder of People Against the NDAA (PANDA), and a nationally renowned writer and speaker. He founded PANDA in January 2012, grew it to the largest Anti-NDAA organization in America, pushing over 18 pieces of state and numerous pieces of local anti-NDAA legislation, then decentralized and created the NDAA Resistance, now a movement thousands strong. Since early 2012, 6 cities and one County have banned the NDAA and the laws of war, with nearly one hundred in progress.

Now he has created the Solutions institute.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of groups, organizations, and institutions who would be more than happy to tell you “what” the problem is. When the inevitable question “but how do I fix it?” comes up, however, these same groups either answer “fund us,” or “go out and protest, and you can make a difference!” neither of which are helpful to anyone who wants to change the world, the nation, or even their own community. The Solutions Institute is a group of dedicated people willing to fill that gap. We are activists, media professionals, IT wizards, networkers, and more, dedicated to helping people change their world.

Ferguson grand jury makes decision; Governor urges calm

John Bacon and Yamiche Alcindor, USA TODAY 6:49 p.m. EST November 24, 2014

A grand jury in Missouri has reached a decision as to whether or not to charge officer Darren Brown in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

A St. Louis County grand jury reached a decision Monday on whether to indict Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson, whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen in August touched off weeks of sometimes violent protests.

Plans were in place for an evening announcement of the long-awaited decision on whether Wilson will face charges in the death of teenager Michael Brown. Officials said the decision would be announced at 8 p.m. CT at the courthouse in the St. Louis County seat of Clayton, Mo.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon called for calm and urged that "regardless of the decision, people on all sides show tolerance, mutual respect and restraint.''

He said several local churches would provide shelter, safe haven and medical care in the event of unrest.

St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley also called for calm in an evening news conference. "This is not the time to turn on each other; it is a time to turn to each other. We are one community,'' he said.

St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay acknowledged the case "has deeply divided us'' but said "turning violent or damaging property will not be tolerated.''

"The world will be watching us,'' Slay said.
