Its Game Day around the Beltway, so be sure to join Alan Zlotorzynski & Stephen Shoup for the Fanspeak.com Baltimore Ravens & Washington Redskins pregame show starting at 10:00 a.m. this morning.
Ed Reed returns to Baltimore today and Ray Lewis will have his No.52 retired into the Ravens Ring of Honor at halftime---There is also a game between the Ravens and Texans. Baltimore, currently 1-1, will host the undefeated Houston Texans (2-0) today, at M&T Bank Stadium. This will be the fifth time in the last four seasons that these two teams have played, The Ravens have won 3 of the previous 4 contests but Houston walloped the Ravens last season in the Lone Star Start by 30-points.
Alan & Steve will break down the matchups, have the all of the stats and give you their 5 Keys to a Ravens Victory. You will hear from both head coaches, as well as players from both teams, including Ed Reed.
Last week, The Washington Redskins fell to the Green Bay Packers, 38-20, to remain winless on the young season. But fear not Redskins fans, history shows that 0-2 teams advance to the playoffs more often than people might think. Since the current playoff format was instituted in 1990, 22 teams started 0-2 & still qualified for the postseason.
Washington will look to get in the win column today, as they host Megatron, Reggie Bush, Mr. Suh, & the rest of the Detroit Lions at Fed Ex Field. Alan & Steve will break it all down-- complete with keys to a Redskins victory. You will hear from both head coaches, as well as the players.

When you wake up on Sunday mornings during the NFL season, please join Alan “Z” and Stephen Shoup for the Fanspeak.com Baltimore Ravens & Washington Redskins pre-game show at 10:30 a.m.
Today the guys will get you set, as both teams hit the road for Week 4. The Ravens will travel to Buffalo to play the Bills and the Redskins trek across the country to take on the Oakland Raiders. The defending Super Bowl Champs are looking to build on an impressive defensive effort that resulted in a convincing 30-9 win last week vs. the Houston Texans.
Led by Darryl Smith’s pick six and Tandon Doss’s 82-yard punt return TD, the Ravens took the lead late in the first half and never looked back as they have now gone two straight weeks without allowing a touchdown. This week, the Ravens offense looks to get on track vs. a Bills defense that is banged up and ranks near the bottom of the league in several defensive categories.
Will Joe Flacco and the Ravens rushing attack get back on track & what are the five keys to a Ravens victory, Alan & Steve will have the answer.
The Redskins have started a disappointing 0-3 and head west to take on the surprisingly competitive Oakland Raiders. What is wrong with the Redskins and can the team, that was 3-6 at one point last season, turn it around again in time to make the playoffs? Alan & Steve will weigh in.
After 22 games and 76 years, the Detroit Lions finally won in Washington. Quarterback Robert Griffin III became the first Redskins quarterback in the Super Bowl era to throw for 300 yards in three consecutive games but is this how the Skins need to play to win?
The Skins have been outscored 64-24 in first half action this season and must reverse that trend if they hope to return with a win before the bye week. Alan & Steve will break it all down and give you the Redskins five keys to a victory

In an important AFC showdown with serious playoff ramifications, the Baltimore Ravens (9-4) host the NFL’s hottest team, the Denver Broncos (10-3), today. The Ravens, losers of two straight on final plays of each game, are trying to make the playoffs for an NFL-best fifth-consecutive season and a win today will secure their second straight AFC North Crown.
Last weeks loss to the Redskins caused Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to fire offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and promote QB coach Jim Caldwell to the position.
Alan and Steve will break down the move and tell you why it wasn't that smart.
The Washington Redskins, owners of the NFC’s longest active winning streak (four games), will travel to face the Cleveland Browns in their Week 15 game today.
The Redskins have won four in a row for the first time since 2008 and kept the streak alive in dramatic fashion vs. Baltimore in Week 14, as Kicker Kai Forbath hit a 34-yard game-winning field goal in overtime.
Alan and Steve will cover every angle of both games. Alan will have his Birds of Baltimore’s “5 keys to a Ravens Victory” and Steve will have the same for the Redskins courtesy of Fanspeak.com.

The Ravens play at the Houston Texans today, at Reliant Stadium. Game time is 1 p.m. ET. The Ravens, winners of four in a row, including last Sunday’s dramatic 31-29 victory over the visiting Cowboys, are 5-1. The Texans, also 5-1, lost, 42-24, at home to the Packers Sunday night.
The Ravens will be without future Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis and their top shutdown cornerback Lardarius Webb, who both sustained season ending injuries last week vs. Dallas. However, Terrell Suggs was activated to the 53-man roster as the Ravens cut Sergio Kindle and may play today in Houston.
Alan will give you his five keys to a Ravens win and tell you why playing Suggs could be a huge mistake.
The Washington Redskins open divisional play in Week 7 as they travel to face the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff from MetLife Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET. Last season, the Redskins swept the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants for the first time since 1999, earning a 28-14 home win in Week 1 and a 23-10 road win in Week 15.
A win this Sunday would give the Redskins their first three-game winning streak against the Giants since winning four straight across the 1998-2000 seasons.
The story of the Redskins’ season continues to be the dynamic rookie duo of quarterback Robert Griffin III and running back Alfred Morris. Steve will give you his five keys to a Redskins victory and tell us why the Skins have a chance to make it three in a row over the champions.
Time permitting, Alan will take a look a the Skins-Giants rivalry which turned 80-years old this season. Alan will also revisit a game between the Texans and Ravens on Monday night in 2010.
Be sure to tune in today for a very special episode. SPECIAL GUEST.. TUNE IN.. KWAME ROSE
