Join me on Thursday, August 27th at 6pm EST. My guest will be National Bestselling Author, DiShan Washington. She has penned the highly acclaimed, “Diary of a Mad First Lady,” “The Preacher’s Wifey,” and “My Baby Is Not a Mistake." We'll discuss her latest release, Diary of a Mad First Lady 2, her personal journey, successful plays, and much more so don't miss it!
Lisa Hodges is the quiet, reserved first lady of the fast growing Pilgrim Baptist Church; and unbeknown to those around her, her quietness is a direct reflection of her discontent life. Charles, her husband, has his focus on climbing the ministerial ladder--and the many women standing in line to fulfill his every need and desire--that he fails to acknowledge his wife's growing frustration. Lisa, the mother of three, has gotten lost in the lives of her children--and in the role of being a first lady--and has long ago given up on obtaining any happiness or success of her own. Believing that her only joy came from her weekly meetings with her other first lady friends, the very sexy and talented Alex Mitchell arrives at her church, causing Lisa to feel her only happiness came in a brown-eyed, caramel-skinned, muscled, 6-foot frame. The two soon begin a sexy, whirlwind affair that results in a forbidden, shared love and an unwanted pregnancy. On the other hand, with secrets of his own, Alex threatens to expose them all, one secret at a time. Will Lisa be able to deny her love for Alex and fix the mess she's gotten herself into? Or will her actions bring down her husband, the church, and her family?
The Washington Nationals picked up a game on the New York Mets. The Nats' 5-1 win over the Miami Marlins, which featured home runs by Ryan Zimmerman, Clint Robinson and Ian Desmond, left them 5.5 games back in the NL East with 34 games left to play. Jordan Zimmermann was sharp-ish in D.C., earning his third straight win.
On this episode of The JHBLS, we will be digging deep into some wide ranging topics about Jimi Hendrix. Nothing is off the table! We will cover some of the more controversial issues concerning Hendrix. Cordell is one of the more knowledgeable scholars on Jimi, who formely had a radio show in Washington D.C. If you know him from his radio program, then you know the discussion will be HOT!!!
Heather Scott (www.repheatherscott.com), along with Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler and Washington State representative Matt Shea, came to the attention of Lost Arts radio recently when they stood up against the harassment of a man in her district by Veterans Administration agents who wanted to strip this citizen of his unalienable 2nd Amendment rights because he had suffered a stroke. This is part of the creeping infringement of 2nd Amendment rights by a government that wants to use any excuse possible to disarm American citizens, a step which historically always precedes much more serious tyranny and government crimes against the people. We get a chance on this week's show to find out first hand from Representative Heather Scott what it is really like when honest and courageous people get into government for the right reasons, and what it's really like on the inside.
On this show we also get a rare chance to speak with Sheriff Richard Mack (www.cspoa.org), on how he went from the beginning of his career in law enforcement, to a clear understanding of what needs to change in how that profession serves the people and honors its oath to the U.S. Constitution. Sheriff Mack shares with us how he came to start the great organization called the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (see all their videos on YouTube), and the inspirational work being done by CSPOA members all over America. All of us are needed to support this great effort at turning America back to an actual land of freedom and honor. If you haven't had the privilege of hearing Sheriff Mack talk yet, you are in for a treat with this show. If you have heard him, you know how inspirational his historical commentary and his insights can be on the real function of law enforcement (listen to what he says regarding "stupid laws"), so you know what a great show this is going to be.

What a busy week for all things Convention of States this has been, and next week promises to get even busier! And that's good news for patriots around the nation, and for those who hunger to see our federal government restored to functioning as a Constitutional Republic!
We'll cover this week's news as briefly as possible, and we'll preview the upcoming COS activity.
Our presentation will be concentrating on the Framers' (those delegates at the Constitutional Convention) own words in describing the State's authority in exercising their unilateral method of amending he Constitution. We'll investigate not only Madison's own words, but also Hamilton and George Washington.
And, we'll try to leave time for your phone calls.
Join with us in our quest to restore our republic!
