"I think that the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign will greatly intensify. It will be incredibly even more difficult for defenders of Israel's apartheid regime to defend Israel in this new era. (Prime Minister) Netanyahu's election makes our job advocating for these campaigns much more easy."
– Josh Ruebner, policy director with the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, on the outcome of the March 17 Israeli election.

Remember when we met near the jungle gym at school, I do, you were seven and I was six...we became bandmates in High School and then all of a sudden we became MEN and did MAN things, one of which was finding someone we loved enough to marry. I have proof that both of us were very happy then. Our wedding photos show us laughing, smiling and greeting friends and relatives, eating cake, smoking cigars and dancing.
It was impossible to imagine, in the face of all that merriment, that one day our respective unions would begin to crack and would become a total collapse.
I thought, how could I live...etc.
We made a pact together...etc.
Now the challenges...etc.
I saw it coming...etc.

One of the first black women to under go an Exorcism Clara Germana Cele (Warning Signs of Demonic Possession).
One day in 1906 at Marianhill mission school in Umzinto, South Africa, Father Erasmus Horner came to hear a strange and troubling confession from one of the young Catholic students there – she’d made a pact with the Devil. The student was 16-year-old Clara Germana Cele, known by the nuns as an ordinary, if somewhat unpredictable, young black girl who’d been orphaned by her parents as an infant and attended the school since the age of four. While the confession was quickly forgotten, in the following weeks Clara began engaging in erratic behavior – behavior that graduated to insane levels on August 20, 1906, when the startled sisters at the school witnessed Clara tearing at her clothes, growling like an animal, and engaging in conversation with seemingly invisible beings. At one point she is reported to have said: “Sister, please call Father Erasmus. I must confess and tell everything. But quick, quick, or Satan will kill me. He has me in his power! Nothing blessed is with me; I have thrown away all the medals you gave me.” And later: “You have betrayed me. You have promised me days of glory, but now you treat me cruelly.” Join us as we discuss demons and exorcism. We will also discuss how to close those gateways. Tune In!

Counterspin (30 min.) This week on CounterSpin: The victory of the austerity-rejecting Syriza party in Greece has some corporate media clucking about “financial chaos” in Europe, due to Greece’s unwillingness to “clean up its act.” But could it be that what elite media fear isn’t that Syriza will fail—but that it might succeed? We’ll talk with Mark Weisbrot of the Center for Economic and Policy Research about the meaning of the Greek elections.

Tonight is a very special tribute to the allied soldiers who liberated the concentration camp at Auschwitz and the inmates who survived the torture inflicted by the German soldiers. We urge you to check out the graphic pictures that need no explanayion or description, but they are not pictures of Auschwitz, but Staninlawow, Poliand, the unheard of story. This is a very personal broadcast for The Rebellious Rev, as his mother was one of the few survivors of Staninlawow. He will tell her story and how her life was changed forever by the affects of the war. We urge any of our listeners who have or had parents who are survivors to please call us at 646-595-3275 and share your story!!!
