It's 2.30 am 26th June 2000, the specialist calmly advised Kay, her son Josh was now a complete quadriplegic, he would spend the rest of his life in bed, if lucky be able to use a motorised wheelchair; devastated Kay looked the doctor in the eye and said "my son will walk again, he is so strong and has a powerful mind". The Doctor replied "Ms Ledson, that's the problem mother's like you, if you do not accept your son will never walk again then I feel sorry for your son". In total disbelief she said, "You don't know me and you don't know my son, he will walk again."

Many societies claim to be for their people, but few proved themselves and remain worthy of their people's trust. The Strong Heart Warrior Society will remain. We are past, present, and forever. This brief mission statement gives credence to our traditional concepts. This society is alcohol-free and drug-free. As a society with its own values, we are here. We are forever.

Warrior Talk Radio has a CRAM-PACKED show toninght. We are so excited to welcome three WARRIORS!!!
First, we have Shawn Cronan. Having served for a total of 13 years honorably in three branches, US Navy, US Army and Louisiana Army National Guard, Shawn was medically discharged after the Desert Storm campaign. In July of 2011 Shawn founded NOLA Patriots, which became a legally incorporated 501(c)3 “non-profit” organization to assist any and all of Louisiana’s active and veteran families. The organization developed a program to maintain family unity (Warrior Family Unity Program) and a program to aggressively address military suicide (Spec Matthew W. Comeaux Peer Support and Mentoring Program). Recently, the organization went througha transition to signify their goal of assisting statewide and “rebranded” itself as the Military Advocacy Project of Louisiana.
Then we have Frank McRae. He is the former head of the US Army Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance Target Analysis and Exploitation Techniques Course (SFARTAETC) at Ft. Bragg N.C. He started his military career in the 1st Ranger Bn as an 11B infantryman. He served in the 1st Special Forces Group (ABN) Okinawa Japan. Frank will be joining us to talk about The Green Beret Foundation Pro Am Shooting Match!
And finally, we have US Senate Candidate from Louisana, Ret. Col. Rob Maness. Col. Maness Rob made the decision as a 17 year old high school senior to enlist in the Air Force and served in the midst of the Iranian hostage crisis. He worked his way up from the enlisted ranks to full colonel and retired from active duty in 2011, ending his military service of more than 32 years. During his military service, Colonel Maness led numerous combat operations; two of which were as a bomber squadron commander in operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Warrior Talk with GI Jenn & Jeff Gonzales: Tiffany Bitz and CDR Mark McGinnis
First, we have Tiffany Bitz, sister of US NAVY SEAL Danny Dietz. She's The VP of The Danny Dietz Leadership & Training Foundation, Inc. It's purpose is bettering the community by training & mentoring at risk youth. This unique program is built around a combination of academic tutoring, drug & alcohol awareness programs, health & nutrition courses, leadership skills classes and disciplined fitness training designed to better prepare our students for healthy productive lives and future career opportunities. By holding close to the values and discipline modeled by Danny himself, the organization strives to create a safe and positive environment in which young people can learn teamwork, leadership skills, and learn to achieve more through intellectual and physical challenges.
Then we have CDR Mark McGinnis back. After graduating from US Naval Academy, he served in the U.S. Marines as a Quality Assurance Officer. Three years later, Mark felt duty-bound to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a U.S. Navy SEAL, and in 1996 became 1 of only 4 Marine Officers in history to be awarded an inter-service transfer to the U.S. Navy Seals.
LCDR McGinnis was assigned to Special Operations Command Center where he completed numerous deployments in support of Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. During his career as a SEAL officer, Mark has earned the reputation of “Top Operator” and proudly led more than 400 SEAL operators through numerous real world & training evolutions with zero mishaps. May of 2009, Mark received the rank of Commander. We'll be discussing the SEAL Legacy Foundation.

Warrior Talk Radio with GI Jenn & Jeff Gonzales is so honored to welcome back our friend Carl Higbie.
As a U.S. Navy SEAL, he saw dozens of combat missions and was decorated with valor in leadership positions. Today, Carl is a man who has an ardent passion for this country, which takes him on a new mission.
He has a heartfelt calling to wake this nation to the stark reality of a new enemy – bureaucracy. From a man who has protected our country in some of the most dangerous areas of the world, he believes there is a new battle on the homefront that every American can fight.
It took the horrific acts of terrorism on September 11, 2001 to wake Carl up. This is what opened his eyes to defend his country and enlist in the military. There are heroic deeds that get noticed by the national media; however, the credit is misplaced. Carl wants to wake this country up and put the credit where it needs to be, which includes ensuring Americans understand who is responsible for the wrong in this country as well. In Carl’s own words, “If I will die proudly for others’ rights, what do you think I will do for my own?”
Then Jeff and I will be discussing current events.
