As we all know Thurgood Marshall was a Supreme Court Justice, however most of us do know that he was an visionary, innovator, a prolific agent of social change, educator, legal education advocate, and grass roots marketing genius !!!!
In this episode of "It's My House" our guest is Warren Houston of "Know Thy Self Radio". He will educate us on how Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall was a major game changer in the history of the United States, yet a very underated one.
This will be a very educational program, so get your pen and paer out and take notes.
The men known as the Founding Fathers of America were either farmers or lawyers. As they formed the Constitution, they focused on the upholding of laws regarding ones property rights. This is why the laws of the land are heavily in favor of property owners and those who defend property rights in court. If you are neither a landowner or a lawyer, you may find yourself at a disadvantage in today's court rooms. It seems that in order to fight for your constitutional rights as a citizen, you must pay a lawyer. Lawyers have seemingly formed an elite class and are available only to the affluent. Many working class people find themselves without the funds to pay for high priced legal help, and therefore seemingly have no rights when sued or trying to sue big business interests or even government agencies. Can you fight a court battle and win without a lawyer? Does the U.S. Constitution really protect the rights of the average citizen? Warren Houston of Know Thyself Radio explains his plan to arm the average citizen with enough knowlege to fight and win in court and take the power out of the hands of the elite class of lawyers.
Many people believe they are trapped in poverty because once thriving businesses have moved out of their community. They are demanding that their elected officials "do something" to provide "jobs." But what they don't realize is that a "job" is not a constitutional right. It is a decision by a business owner to pay another person to help t in the delivery of whatever product or service the business owner is selling. So, if you want a "job" answer the questions, "Who is selling something and needs my help in order to sell more? What skills do they need that I can provide?" Forget about, "They should hire more Blacks, more women, more whatever. It's not about you, it's about them and what they need to sell more of whatever they are selling to make a living for themselves. This is what capitalism is all about. Selling. Vincent Gilbert, an organizer of a very successful Illinois Job Fair held recently, shares some tips for those seeking employment. No matter what the economy, everybody needs to earn a living, and for those who are in business, they need people to work with them and help them sell more of their product or service. How much they sell determines how much profit they have to pay others to help them to continue to sell more. What do you need to do to convince business owners that you are the person they should pay to help them? Earning a living is each person's responsibility. Warren Houston of Know Thyself Radio, explains how wrong beliefs about business and government "owing" people jobs keeps individuals trapped in a state of poverty and dependency, rather than taking the initiative to create their own economic opportunities.
Michael Brown of Ferguson, MO is only the recent tragedy that has led to the realization that America's local police departments are becoming more and more like paramilitary units than the local officer that knew everyone on in the town in which he patrolled. The ignoring of civil liberties, "stop and frisk" & the use of SWAT teams on a regular and all to familiar basis is quickly becoming the new norm in America.
So when do we stand tall, and take back our government from the ever encroachng acts of facism that are normal each and every day?
Join me to discuss the events that are taking our nation by storm, that are turning or neighborhoods into war zones and that are leading us to the reality that is the PURGE.

With the school year about to be put into full swing, we find ourselves being used as a social engineering football once more.Take a look at this PA educators comments, "Focusing on teacher preparation and stronger curriculum is “not going to get us anywhere unless we pay attention to the really basic needs of these children, things like nutrition and health and safety, and the instability of the homes", and you can guess where we are going with this.
