This is an encore to the show "Why judgment kills . . . and what to do about it."
Brene Brown and other experts have recently been talking about the power of vulnerability.
Brene Brown has said "Vulnerability is the birthplace of everything we are hungry for."
What is vulnerability? And would being vulnerable enhance your relationships with others?
What if what you are looking for in life is actually is not a destination (having the car, the money, etc), but a presence?
What magic can being the space of vulnerability create for you and for the world??
Would that not magnetize to you easily that which you'd like to show up in your life?
Join us tomorrow for a vulnerable discussion on the magic of vulnerability.

She is the founder of the Beginner's Guide to Getting Anything You Want workshop (starting again October 2) and has most recently been quoted by Yahoo! Education. Joel Readence is a Personal Development Coach working with gay men, and others, in areas such as life purpose, relationships, career fulfillment, spirituality and personal identity. Through individual and group coaching, he partners with his clients to overcome fear of success, failure and judgment by others to help them reach their full, self-expressed potential.
Tim Billiter, owner of DIY for Your Soul, is a Certified Life/Life Purpose Coach on a mission is to assist people in creating the life of their dreams by helping them understand that they must first build a strong foundation on which to construct that life. His role as a coach is helping his clients develop new thought processes and skills to create the life they desire, but more importantly, to show them that much of what they think they lack is, and always was, right inside of them.
Vulnerability is a word that, for many people, suggests weakness, letting your guard down and leaving yourself open to attack. But that understanding might just be based on a limited response, a rigid and protective sense of self in the world.
What if we operated from openness, from connecting first to our own insecurities and our profound need to connect with others, and reached out from that place? Join us for a spirited discussion of how being vulnerable might actually lead us to being stronger.

Quick - what does the word 'vulnerability' mean to you? Does it have positive or negative connotations for you? Or both?
The dictionary defines vulnerabitly as this: "the inability to withstand the effects of a hostile environment". Other definitions include: "reduced defensive measures" or "susceptible to physical or emontional attack".
Doesn't sound so good, right?
So why is vulnerability such a cornerstone to recovery? How do we navigate its potentially treacherous waters? Why is it so pivotal?
