Hard Starboard Radio: "Time Is The Fire In Which We Burn" (Take Two)

    in Politics Conservative

After last Thursday's excursion in blogcasting awesomeness, I received a call from Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington, (my hometown) informing me that my father had been admitted after having fallen down the previous day and remained on the floor until he was found that afternoon.  He didn't suffer any broken bones, but he was diagnosed with possible spinal meningitis.  This is why I found myself in Wenatchee over the weekend, yesteday, into today, and probably most of this week, just in time for the national headline-grabbing Sleepy Hollow wildfires.  The times, personally and politically speaking, could stand to be a bit less "interesting" for my tastes.  And that's without remote location-induced technical difficulties.

So climb back into the Wayback Machine (again) as we attempt (again) to revisit a podcast from (nominally) better days.  And, of course, your prayers for my dad are deeply appreciated.  After all, the MRI turned out just fine.

' Meet Me In The Unknown' An IC4TS chat with Bernie Gillespie

    in Spirituality

Mark's very happy to be talking with Dublin based people helper  Bernie Gillespie.

Mark spoke with Bernie about a year ago and was deeply impacted by what she had to say, so he's really looking forward to exploring 'Reality' with her again..... Reality is a big word well not literally cos its only got 7 letters lol, but what many of us call our reality is actually something that's in a constant state of flux.

The 'Reality' that Bernie invites us to be grounded in does not change, its what many would call your 'True Nature'. Join Mark and Bernie as they explore the 'True Nature' thing and lots of other interesting stuff.

Bernie Gillespie is an highly respected 3 Principles facilitator and as worked with Ian Watson and Dicken Bettinger to name just a few.

Talking in Circles: Austin Dillon's new crew chief, XFINITY Recap, Truck Recap,

    in Sports

Cup- Slugger Labbe new crew chief for Austin Dillon. Replaces Gil Martin. Dillon is 23rd in the points with just 1 top 10 finish. Has 2 wins in XFINITY in 11 starts this season. Thoughts?

Future crew chief changes? Chad Johnston, Jay Guy, Bob Osborne.

XFINITY- Erik Jones wins, nice weekend for the 19 year old driver. swept both the truck race at Iowa and the XFINITY Series race at Chicagoland. Jones is showing he is a top young driver in the sport right now.

Ryan Blaney finished 2nd. He was the fastest car there. Went from the rear of the field after crashing in happy hour and finished runner-up

Chris Buescher manages a decent finish.  5th spot, stayed out on a caution when NASCAR opened/closed pit road. Big benefit for him. Got track position, never gave it up.

Buescher now leads Ty Dillon by 29 points. Dillon finished 9th. Gotta do better in an X-Only race.

Lap 151- Dylan Lupton brings out caution and NASCAR race control calls Pit Road Open. The problem is the flag man either didn’t hear it or had a major brain fart and failed to make the light green coming down pit road. What happened was drivers went down pit road with the red light resulting in a penalty for those drivers. Craziness and sad we even had to deal with it.

Next Xfinity Series race- Daytona, after off weekend.

Trucks- Erik Jones wins as I mentioned before.

Brandon Jones finished in the 2nd, Reddick 3rd, Crafton 4th and Christopher Bell 5th.

    Truck points-

Landon Cassill misses X race- good move?

Jamie Dick’s team closes down. Viva Motorsports- sign of things to come?
