Tonight on Alchemist Radio we’ll review this past weekend’s plethora of MMA including Titan FC 30 and UFC 178.
Vinny Magalhaes stepped inside the Titan FC Hexagon for the very first time on Friday night and walked out with a shiny new title around his waist. Magalhaes and Jason Brilz battled back and forth for three rounds, but early on in the fourth round, Magalhaes landed a head kick and then cinched in a fight ending guillotine choke to become the Titan FC light heavyweight champion.
Eddie Gordon is back and after some serious campaigning, the Freeport native got his wish and will be competing against Josh Samman at UFC 181 in December. Gordon was excited about the prospects of competing on the same card as his friend and teammate, UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, but because of an injury, Weidman vs Vitor Belfort was pushed back a few months. Gordon has been preparing for a fight for weeks now in the hopes he would get the call from the UFC at anytime.
Tune in at 7pm EST/4pm PST.

The guys get into the playoffs - both NHL and NBA - with the titles games almost set in both sports. Fuz will likely take shots a LeBron James - again - while Ed sweats the genuis of Gregg Pops resting his players in the regular-season. The Dallas Cowboys will like catch the wrath of the fellas, and while they don't wish injury on anyone, it's safe to say they'll be happy Sean Lee may be out for the year. Ed has words for "Twitter Tough Guys" that say they would fight Floyd Mayweather if he's talking trash about your woman. The guys discuss Vitor Belfort replacing Wanderlei Silva at UFC 175 and will face "Uncle" Chael Sonnen, while Ed explains his beef with TRT fighters.
Tonight we welcome special Guest Mr. David James to the show. Mr. James is possibly better known as "The Predictor" , a sports fortune teller of sorts, a forecaster if you will. Mr. James does not predict the outcomes of games however he has predicted the career paths of sports stars such as Tony Romo, Tom Brady and Rajon Rondo. He has become a guide for teams in several prominent organizations to help them with drafting and free agency signings and all with a winning record.
We will talk with David James about several stars of today as well as if he has any hidden secrets he'd be willing to reveal about posible stars of the future.
After our guest we will transition into the world of Mixed Martial Arts and talk about Donald Cerrone's impressive victory over Jim Miller, the goings on between the UFC and Gina Carano as well as future fights involving Vitor Belfort, Nate Diaz and of course the match up at UFC on FOx 12 between Matt Brown and Robbie Lawler.
All of that and a bit more, so stay tuned in!
