Jeanine Alfieri is a graduate of the California College of Arts and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textiles. In New York City, she created and sold her Textile designs and began a successful career in silkscreen printing and art for fashion. Alfieri eventually owned her own silkscreen shop and design house. She also started a monthly event called, Girl Power at a club, which featured a new visual artist displayed on the mezzanine of the club and live music on the main floor hosted by Female bands. After taking a class for welding in 2001 at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Alfieri began incorporating steel into her work. She uses found steel which she then shapes and welds herself. These works emulate the power and beauty of the female form. The fabric, oil paint and metal depict a flow of energy, movement and color. Alfieri's work has been in alternative spaces as well as galleries across Manhattan and New Jersey. She designs, bakes and decorates a line of one of a kind cupcakes. These edible sculptures were featured in all the high end gourmet shops in Manhattan, including Dean and Deluca and Gourmet Garage. In 2007, Alfieri opened The Fountainhead Gallery. The questions impose are what was good art and bad art in the Da Da movement? What made good art and bad art of the abstract movement, the conclusion will be that art is in the eye of the beholder of what good art is and what bad art is. Most of my art is considered to be a bit strange. So, is it good or bad to have strange art or to be different? What about some of the most famous, were they weird? Tune in to the Edna Stewart Show to find out.

Simply put, like every one with a dream, I go after it. Music has been a source of many things to me, so I have pursued music relentlessly. I have developed a style all my own and I'm ready to share it with the world. Through the years I have worked with different bands, choirs and youth groups in the capacities of soloist, musician, and choir director. In the early 90's I played keyboards and drums alternately as well as lead vocals with a band in VA. In the mid to late 90's I moved to Seattle where I Played keyboard and drums with Churches and youth groups. The style of that period was more geared toward alternative rock or grunge diversifying my musical style.
Then in the late 90's to the turn of the century I moved more towards a contemporary and at times traditional gospel mostly focused more on drumming and lead vocals for a various churches in NY. Opportunities to direct choirs ensued along the way throughout the years lending to sharpening my musical and vocal arrangements. After many years of practice, writing, & playing I am venturing to release my own music, this current project "ReeVerse" being my second solo release. I've perform on at various venues and stages including Jazz festivals in St.Lucia…
I Established Reethym Production formal in 2007 to promote not just my self but other artist. In addition I am currently collaborating on a few projects soon to be release for various artists. So keep an eye out for me you never know where I may just pop up. To compliment my music, I am also a photographer and Graphic Designer which enable me to be creative in every aspect of my production from start to finish. Oh yeah and since you here please visit my website and let me know what you think "www.davidmclorren.com". Much love. -d
