Vast numbers of us find ourselves shamed or ashamed as a direct result of having been psychiatrized. What if this is not an accident? Could it be that toxic shame is a direct intention of psychiatry, not just a byproduct? Is psychiatry using shame in the same way it uses other so-called ‘treatments’ – as a means to silence dissent, marginalize critique and enforce compliance with dominant culture ‘norms.’ Regardless of intentions, what is the implication of an entire profession actively exploiting clinician-patient power differentials so that its members are free to force their will on vulnerable, unconsenting service recipients?
In this episode, we explore our lived experiences with what we are coming to term ‘psychiatric molestation.’ We discuss how the medical model has positioned psychiatry to ‘have its way with us’ in body, mind and spirit. We openly challenge the violation inherent in any posture of ‘clinical intercourse’ which dictates that the psychiatrist is always on top, dominant and entitled to exercise power, while relegating patients to the bottom, submissive, receptacle role. Finally, and most importantly, we ask how we can overcome iatrogenic shame and recover from the damage that psychiatry has done to us on physical, mental, moral, social and existential levels.

Radio Angola-a radio without borders will host a debate about the systematic violation of human rights in Angola. The debate will be broadcast live at 6 pm this Friday, October 31, 2014. According to Freedom House, Angola Freedom in the World 2013 Report, Angola is “Not Free,” The Human Rights Watch 2014-World Report, the ruling Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) led by Jose Eduardo dos Santos who has been in power for 35 years, has “intensified repressive measures to restrict freedom of expression, association and assembly in 2013.” The most recent U.S. Department of State, “Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2013,” highlights the most important human rights abuses committed by Angolan government. As they put it, “the three most important human rights abuses were cruel, excessive, and degrading punishment, including reported cases of torture and beating as well as unlawful killings by police and other security personnel; limits on freedoms of assembly, association, speech, and press; official corruption and impunity.”

I have no intention of leaving America to live in Africa and I will not separate myself from this land to appease any one not even Farrakahn. I find his explanation for the actual circumstance under which our sisters of the Nation of Islam and their children were treated is a contradiction of the facts. So I have copied the so called accounts of the FBI mention in the book The Judas Factor: “The FBI had learned form wiretaps on Elijah Muhammad had fathered illegitimate children by several of his former secretaries, including two who had been given rigged “trials” for their sinful behavior, with Elijah Muhammad as judge Muhammad ruled that “they didn’t know who the fathers of their children were, suggesting promiscuity a violation of Islamic law, and the secretaries had been expelled from the Nation of Islam. Armed with this information, FBI agents had spread rumors about it by the unusually direct method of buttonholing Nation of Islam members and asking them if they were aware that Minister Elijah Muhammad was the farther of several illegitimate children by his secretaries.
At the time of MalcolmX’s suspension, Wallace Muhammad had been conjuring with Malcolm X about rumors. What either Malcom X nor Wallace Muhammad knew was that the Messenger was well informed about the status of their supposedly secret probe into his sexual misconduct.” Now all the rest is History, and a funny thing about history is it can’t be truthfully changed. Where is the “Justice or Else?” Wait a minute did I miss something? Or did Farrakhan pull the biggest Money Scam, again on the people? Revolutionaries do not say Justice or else unless they mean to declare war on an unjust system, in our research we learned that Phenomena has oppositions. That language has terms that are diametrically opposed to one another the term peace is diametrically opposed to the term War.
in The Bible
Iniquity in the Hebrew is “`avon” and means “to bend, twist, distort” so iniquities are a bending, twisting, or distorting of the law or God’s Word to different degrees worthy of punishment (as we shall read later). Iniquity is certainly a violation of the right or duty that mankind is under obligation to do. As such, an iniquity can also be a wicked act and immoral conduct or practices that are harmful or offensive to society but especially to God. Exodus 34:17 mentions iniquity and guilt in the same sentence as God says He is “forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin” even adding transgression (which will be discussed in the later). God sometimes uses words like iniquity, transgression, sin, and trespasses to indicate the varying degrees of disobedience. Essentially, in the context within which this word is found, iniquity means “guilt that is worthy of punishment” due to the bending or twisting of the law of God (which sin is the transgression of the law).

TONIGHT 9P we discuss Sandra Bland, an African- American woman who was found hanged in a jail cell in Wallrer County, Texas, on July 13, 2015. Her death was classified as a suicide by police and the county coroner, and was followed by protests against her arrest, disputing the cause of death and alleging racial violence against her. Bland was 28 years old when she died. The issue of police violence is a serious issue in America and must remain a major topic of discussion.
Bland had been pulled over for a minor traffic violation on July 10 by state trooper Brian Encinia. He arrested her following an escalating conflict, during which he alleged that she had assaulted him and which was recorded by his dashcam and by a bystander's cell phone. The officer was placed on administrative duty for failing to follow proper traffic stop procedures, as the release of the dashcam video supports the claim that normal procedures were not followed by the arresting officer.
On July 16 Texas authorities and the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that they had begun a joint investigation into Bland's death. Waller County district attorney's office said that her death would be investigated as a possible murder. A motion-activated camera outside her cell recorded no movement in the hallway for 90 minutes before founding her dead.

Often in our society people speak of "big" sins and "Little" sins. The implication is that until sin has reached a particular "size", it has little impact or consequences. The nature of sins is not the issue, it it the violation of God's commands that matter. Furthermore, sin also has a far-reaching impact. Its ripple effect can be felt by more people than the transgressor alone. Thankfully, there is hope for us regardless of the sins we have committed. Heartfelt confession and repentance can restore us to a right relationship with God. While God hates sin, His compassion extends to all who seek forgiveness.
