When people talk about how to sell your house, they often think of those important things like kitchens, baths, cleaning up and putting cookies in the oven before the open house. But what often gets left un-talked about is the value of speed.
And if you want to know how to sell your house---fast---you want to talk to realtor Danny Griffin of A&E's 60-Seconds to Sell. Along with his brother John, the Griffin brothers are high-stakes realtors turning the typical home sale technique on its head. They list a house at about half its traditional market value. This starts a feeding frenzy of deal-hungry buyers. They call it the “quick sale auction”.
They say it works.
You can see the action as it happens on 60 Seconds to Sell. (Saturdays at12:00pm on A&E). The trick is to get buyers' attention and then let greed, desire and market forces take over. Once buyers smell a deal, they’re drawn to a two-hour, one-day open house and auction where the brothers start a bidding process (war?) and let the circling buyers feed with their checkbooks.
The technique infuriates some traditional realtors, but Danny says it works and susses out what the home would eventually sell for anyway, minus all the waiting.
What does this do if you want to know how to sell your house quickly? It creates a possible path to get the price you'd get anyway, without the carrying costs of a house that languishes for weeks and months on the market. It makes it possible for a homeowner to get cash in hand to move when they want to and get the new house they're buying without someone else snatching it up from under them.

Kelly spent years volunteering within the public school system and raising money for the MB Education Foundation and she describes her current position as a fruitful combination of everything she has ever worked in or volunteered for.
She is passionate about keeping DTMB inviting to locals, Southern Californians and travelers from afar.
Kelly and Michael were responsible for putting everything in place for the LA Kings South Bay Stanley Cup Parade that took place in the Beach Cities on June 18 and this morning, they’re going to give us the back story on exactly how that came about.

What started as a trade agreement between 4 small market nations in the early 21st century has morphed and lurched and disguised itself into the 12 nation (and counting) behemoth that is causing record setting protest, dissent and demands from citizenry and elected officials alike around the Pacific Rim.
The Trans Pacific Partnership promises a new standard for trade agreements. Indeed. Of the 26 chapters in the framework yet to be released to the public, only a scant two have direct relation to international trade in the traditional sense. The other 24 deal with corporate entitlement, copyright terms, patent length, internet governance, environmental laws, personal information sharing and the ever-present tribunal mechanism for corporations to sue Governments secretly. Because laws that limit profit are simply "bad business".
Many things Canadians take for granted will be altered or abandoned altogether if this trojan horse is allowed inside the walls as it is now. As far as anyone can tell, that is. The secrecy surrounding these marathon negotiations are unlike anything ever seen before. Wikileaks having posted the only known leaked portions of the deal, there is no way to even know what the current text is. Apparently, the billions of people involved have no need to know. No better example than the Harper junta changing venue from Vancouver to Ottawa to avoid demonstrations. Nothing to hide here, move along.
David Christopher of OpenMedia.ca will join me to try and decipher what this monster of a treaty will do to the signatory nations, specifically Canada. Who wins and who loses. So called "free" trade has never delivered on its promises despite the spin from industries and governments alike.
