"St. Thomas has over 40 major beaches along its sun-drenched coasts. There are strands with crystal blue water and swaying coconut trees where a beach bum can enjoy a lazy-lazy day. For the restless beach goers there are sandy coves with activities like windsurfing and kayaks. Some shores are rugged and rocky offering beauty, solitude and the opportunity to daydream about castaway fantasies. And there are widely popular bays with amenities like restaurants and chair rentals. In this St. Thomas Beach Guide you will find 20 of the island’s most popular beaches, and a few off-the-beaten-track spots; complete with description, map, photos and reviews."
General Beach Information

At 6:15-Sharita Benson began designing while a Marketing major at North Carolina A&T State University in 2001. She purchased her first sewing machine for her 21st birthday. With the knowledge she gained in her 8th grade home economics class, she began to teach herself garment construction. Disappointed in the choices for women in the plus-size market she began creating and wearing her own designs. In 2002, due to a friends insistence she began to sew for others. S. Benson Corporation was created in 2007, it launched its first line of handbags that same year called Conversation Piece by S. Benson. In 2012, she re-launched as S. Benson Clothing and Accessories. Our design philosophy is "Clothing design with your figure in mind!". Her goal is to provide comfort, versatility, and style to women of all shapes and sizes!
7:15- NOBS is comprised of three, thirty-somethings who describe themselves as solution-based, risk takers. With growing concern and frustration about constant updates of personal tragedies in the news and on social media, this lady and two gentlemen decided they would use technology as a means to fight back and help people feel empowered. The idea came about at an amusement park of all places. While waiting in line to ride a roller coaster, the NOBS C.E.O., Starr Armstrong scrolled through her Facebook newsfeeds. Upset by the latest bad news she asked her friend and soon to be business partner, Christopher Carrington, “What if there was an app for that?” which led to a thoughtful discussion. After enduring numerous loops and drops, she hurried home and contacted her other friend and future business partner Lee Dear, whom she refers to as the King of all things I.T. and media related and informed him of the concept. The rest is technological history.
