Unity America Radio is a Digital Media Presentation Broadcast that is both educational and motivational. Unity America, offers The United American Veterans Paid Internship Program as an opportunity for Vets and college students to gain practical work experience in the digital media journalism and broadcast field; including social networking, marketing, public presentation, and FUN-raising! We also encourage transitional Veterans to actively establish a business as free enterprise.
Our Primary objective is to help Veterans transition from Active Duty to Productive Members of Society by raising awareness pertaining to Support Structures available bringing Veterans with the rest of our Community together. 4 of 5 college students do not find employment after graduation due to lack of experience. The United American Veterans Internship combats that statistic. Our Internship is a stepping stone to secure and help advance the preservation of America. Our intent is to establish a private non-profit school for selected Veterans, and College Students we choose to help us on our mission. Our school will not charge for tuition nor require any payment from our Veterans and Interns.
Unity America Radio raises awareness, empowers education and promotes Unity. "UNITED WE STAND" Subjects include: what, where, when, and how to benefit our social support structure as well as matters pertaining to our education, military, economy, workforce, civil rights, recreation, leadership and much more. The discussions are open for everyone with interaction and implore through communication the changes and ongoing traditions we continue to uphold.

Maybe their comfort of home is now the barracks? These times of the year can be extremely difficult for Service Members and Veterans alike as these dates are used in reflection of days not so long ago, in situations far from ideal. Today is Thursday, 26 November 2015, Thanksgiving day and we have a lot to be thankful for 2015.We are thankful to our men and women on active duty defending our liberty so that we may have peace at home on this Thanksgiving day. We must also be mindful of the mena and women veterans who are not able to be with family and friends during this day for family or friends. Often our veterans do not complain but many are without food though they may be housed. We are yet thankful for being here to provide our community news and information M-F for the past 2 years.
We are going to address the lifestyle of veterans today to discuss the economic realities of active duty and veterans who are often unable to pay rent and have eough to eat for the entire month. We will look at the the fact that our active duty are often asked to be ready for deployment anywhere in the world but their pay is not such that can withstand the riggors of family life and being ready to hop anywhere on the globe in 18 hours or less.
