Chris Kreiger co-found WNY Heroes - a veterans' assistance organization. U.S. Army in 1997 with primary military occupation specialty status (MOS) as a combat medic, and secondary MOS as a member of the military Police. During his first five years in the military, he served his country and others in several important security operations. In 1998, Kreiger secured Operation Gold Cargo's cross-country munitions, he served alongside North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces securing mass grave sites in Bosnia through Operation Join Forge.In 2001, Kreiger was called to Ground Zero on 9/11 with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) in conjunction with the New York Police Department and Port Authority following the September 11th attacks. In 2002, he served on Operation Noble Eagle, working with Customs and Immigration to secure bridges and detect illegal immigrants and drug smuggling. Of all the challenges he faced in the military, the most impactful was to come in 2003, when he was called to serve as a medic in Operation Iraqi Freedom - the war in Iraq.During his service in Iraq, Kreiger was hit multiple times by roadside bombs.

Labor Day is traditionally celebrated on the first Monday of September and marks the recogniztion of thow in the Labor Work Force. Thousands, Host included, have been relieved of their positions in the traditional Work Force due to the impact of their TBI. Cozette is also a champion overcomer of domestic violence and a neuro muscle disease namely Myasthenia Gravis. She is a committed community advocate serving as a liaison to education and workforce development. Cozette is committed to serving her children, community and school. Cozette is dueled degreed holding a BBA in Business Management and MPA in Public Administration. Thorough personal physically debilitating illness, domestic violence, two children diagnosed with special needs (Autism and Specific Learning Disability). Cozette finds it not feat to Finish, what is purposed in her heart to do. She is the Determined Finisher and Contributing Author of “Life Happens…But You Can Finish”.
During Cozette’s personal time she loves to cook, write, read, listen to music and spend time with her children.

His beautiful wife of 19 years, Cheryl and his wonderful twin teenage girls, Sarah and Rebekah, participate in VFW Post 4809 junior girls visiting VA hospitals providing emotional support for our aging heroes. His outstanding teen son, Ethan, wants to be a game designer or a sniper and is diligently striving to reach both of these goals. Last but never least is the not so baby girl, Julianna, who plays the violin and recently turned seven. Be aware, when experiencing a bad day she can easily force the discouraged to smile. He loves to create designs for heraldic crests which can help in preserving a family’s heritage for future generations. In addition to artwork and steam-punk upcycling he is an avid reader who enjoys skiing, tennis and going to the beach with the family.
