The New Venues of Shared Truth, A call in show, with Michael-Jay 347-826-9733

    in Christianity

The New Venues of Shared Truth are opening up a new world for people who have yearned for real liberty. The community of people despising the lies that our contemporary organs of propaganda pump out is growing, exponentially. The new media of social communications, by practically instantaneous internet sharing has ripped the shackles of the former controls of information. Now millions of people experience the immediate echoing of their perspectives in a venue that will judge comparative and contrary views! This phenomenon is very troubling to the sociopaths that used deceptions and omissions to control ignorant and gullible people. Their pathological frenzy to control information is directly proportionate to their hatred for truth and real desire to prevent liberty of choice for others.

Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Drummer/Producer/Arranger EC3!

    in Music

This will not be the first time that EC3 has visited our show.  Every time he drops by, there is always exciting news to share! And this time is no different - but let's back track....

EC was born in Naples, the son of a respected tenor saxophonist, composer and arranger.  Early in his life, little Ernest must have decided to follow in his Dad's footsteps.  He was the youngest graduate of the Naval School of Music - and he flew from there!  There was work to be had in Los Angeles, but the call of Las Vegas proved to be a turning point in this drummer's career.  EC met Vincent Falcone, who had been Frank Sinatra's legendary pianist.  And he met Loretta Holloway, a much respected vocalist - who was looking for someone just like our guest.  EC became Ms. Holloway's Music Director - and shouldered some huge shows with her for over 12 years.  It was common to share the stage with Don Rickles, Jay Leno and David Brenner, among many others.

One of the biggest introductions that EC ever had was when he met bass master, Al McKibbon.  Al and EC had a connection that lasted for years.  Because of their intense working relationship - sometimes via 18 shows a week! - our Friend developed a fabulous set of career and life skills that have stayed with him.  And that has most certainly helped with the creation of his multiple projects.  When we first met EC, he was making the rounds of various venues in support of his "Her Eyes at Sunset."  Then, it was "It's All About the Rhythm."  Now, there's a new set of tunes - very much in the swinging, sassy, and Jazz-loving EC3 style.  It's called "My Rhythmic Point of View" and it's going to make you get UP and bossa your socks off ;)  We've got our talented visitor in-house to tell us all about it - on 10/6 - join us!

  • Gilbrando Acevedo

    in Entertainment

Tonight we'll be talking with Gilbrando Acevedo. He's been in a number of Fuzz on the Lens productions, including two of my favorites, "Mama's Boys" and "Like Father, Like Sons" opposite Johnny Collins.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Gilbrando Acevedo is an actor who studied acting at HB Studios in New York City. With a passion for academia, he garnered a baccalaureate degree in Philosophy and Political Science, as well as a Master's Degree in Exercise Science, which informs his performances. His technique focuses on human motivation and honest self-expression while utilizing his physicality to bring a palpable intensity to his roles. No stranger to TV, he created, directed, edited and acted in his own bi-weekly television show entitled "Philosophy, Art & Fitness," which aired on Brooklyn Community Access Television. Experienced in theater acting, having performed at many off-Broadway venues throughout New York, including New York City Center, he made his film debut, as The Vampire Lord, in the original independent film "Prey Love Eat," directed by Michael Leavy. Although he has collaborated with many diverse, talented and creative production companies, he presently has finished his 5th film, "Catch of The Day" with Fuzz on the Lens Productions, in which he plays the lead, Detective Sam Hynes. However, starting in the summer of 2015 he will be filming another Fuzz on the Lens Production, in which he plays The Genie, in what will be his biggest film to date, "AA," and stars a stellar cast including Malcolm McDowell, Tyler Mane, Eileen Dietz, Leslie Easterbrook and many, many more. Look for these films, his appearances on television, YouTube and web series.
