    Darrel Gardner Horsemanship Show

    in Social Networking

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:

    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.

    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners

    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.

Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

He is an ambassador/volunteer with the Clinton Foundation. Mwansa  recently registered a new company dealing in import & export company, it will trade between America and Zambia/Africa. The company will be an activist company in the sense that it will actively promote gender equality for African women in the U.S. and in Africa. We will help African women by  finding markets for their products here in the U.S. Mwansa is very supportive of  African initiatives here in the U.S. such as the "SendBetty2School" campaign by George Mtonga.

Mwansa is a committee member for the business committee in SOZA ( Society Of Zambians in America). He believe in gender equality because it the key/answer to Zambia's economic problem.  Mwansa says "As a nurse, I want to use my knowledge and experience to help some clinics in Zambia e.g. on pediatrics and maternity issues. For my business that I just registered, I will be supplying 3 things: 1) African clothes, 2) handcrafts, jewelry and gifts, and 3) African dried foods and vegetables. I'm interested in Zambian politics, and also American politics, so I'm always comparing the standards between Zambian and American politics."

Health Care for All: Lunch with Louden 1/29/15

    in Politics

Health care is a key issue for many Americans today. The Affordable Care Act has prompted debate. Some think it goes too far, and others think it does not go far enough: citizens across the nation are calling for health care for all.

In Oregon there is a movement afoot to move to universal health care. Led by Health Care for All-Oregon (HCAO), groups and citizen supporters "will descend on the Capitol steps in Salem on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to rally and call on state legislators to act, drawing their attention to the fact that far too many Oregonians still lack affordable health care."

HCAO proposes a health care system that covers everyone living or working in Oregon-no exceptions-with no co-pays and no deductibles.

Our guests today will be Lee Mercer, President of Health Care for All - Oregon, and one of the "Mad as Hell Doctors". They will talk about the rally as well as the facts and philosophy behind their movement.
