Bob Zima, MA/LCPC, is a self described “Frequent Flyer to Hell and Back.” He has experienced many trips to the Gates of Hell and has lived to tell the tale. And he has learned a thing or two along the way.
In this short podcast, Bob shares with you his quirky and wacky insights and lessons learned from several trips to Hell and back. Perhaps you may be inspired by this irreverent, blazon and passionate cathartic satirist who tells it like it is. Perhaps not.
This show is for mature audiences with open minds and souls. Healing is NOT for wimps or the weak-hearted.
On today’s show, Bob discusses the notion of self-concept. Which can also be called self-esteem. Self-Concept is the visual image we hold of ourselves. This image impacts our ability to grieve, heal and enjoy life.
Join us for HIV/AIDS discussion bringing awareness to the community. Historically, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has affected more men than women. However, if new HIV infections continue at their current rate worldwide, women with HIV may soon outnumber men with HIV. HIV infection impacts a growing number of women in Illinois each year. Nearly 7,000 women in Illinois are currently known to be living with HIV and/or AIDS. Many hundreds of other women are probably living with HIV even though they are unaware of their own infection. HIV/AIDS disproportionately impacts African-American women in Illinois and the United States. Nationally, HIV infection is the leading cause of death for African-American women between the ages of 25 and 34. In Illinois, the number of HIV cases among African-American women continues to climb. Roughly 68 percent of Illinois women living with HIV are African American, while African Americans only make up 15 percent of the Illinois population. Caucasian women account for 16 percent of Illinois women living with HIV, while the Caucasian population represents more than 73 percent of Illinois residents. Latina women represent roughly 11 percent of the HIV/AIDS cases in women, while 13 percent of the Illinois population is Latino. Roughly 4 percent of women with HIV are from Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander and other communities. Women in their 30s are the most likely to be living with HIV/AIDS, and almost all Illinois women living with HIV are between the ages of 20 and 50.
MADLYN BIO: In 2010, I had my first song "Suddenly" placed in the indie film "Elena Undone," a movie I also played a supporting character in. I've also been blessed to have other artistic opportunities including writing songs for other artists such as European pop star Suzanna Lubrano, recording title tracks for films like the indie movie "Wheels," appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! singing background vocals for bands like Youngblood Hawke, and recording vocals for bands, most recently for latest Thirty Seconds to Mars album, "LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS." I've also been able to co-write with some pretty amazing peeps, including the legendary Billy Steinberg and Ken Hirsch. I love to perform live, and do so as often as possible at various venues throughout the US, both as a solo vocal/piano performer, as well as with my other awesome band members.
KATHRYN DEAN BIO: Armed with her unique perspective, musical integrity and soul bearing vocals, Kathryn Dean’s distinct sound has immense depth and intelligence both lyrically and musically. She delivers an honest performance that tells her unique stories in a way that inspires and impacts the human spirit like a true artist does.
Beyond her production commitments Kathryn has found the time to continue her passion for philanthropy where she has been involved with various charities. She has been participating in and leading events in her home town of San Diego since she was 13. Kathryn has a special place in her heart for children, troubled teens, animals and other groups in need.
NATHAN HALE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SEATTLE SAID NO TO COMMUNIST CORE. A BRAINWASHING DEVICE DESIGNED TO DESTROY AMERICAN FREEDOM. HOORAY FOR THESE YOUNG PATRIOTS.WE ARE CALLING FOR A COLLEGE SURVEY RATING BY THE STUDENTS. THE TOPIC IS HOW MANY HAMMERS AND SICLES DO YOU GIVE YOUR COMMUNIST REEDUCATION COLLEGE? LET'S FACE IT BRAINWASHING IS RAMPANT THROUGHOUT THE LAND. WHEN A PRE SCHOOL BOY IS GIVEN A GIRLS COLORING BOOK FOR CLASS WORK. HE COLORS THE DRESSES, THE BATHING SUITS AND THE SHOES TO ME THAT'S GENDER VERIFICATION.. WHEN HE GROWS UP HE CAN WEAR PRETTY RED HIGH HEELS LIKE THE PHILADELPHIA ROTC WERE FORCED TO WEAR ON A FIVE MILE HIKE FOR SICKO RIGHTS. WHEN YOU TURN ON YOUR TV SEEING A LONG SHOT OF A COUPLE KISSING AND THE CLOSE UP MAKES YOU PUKE BECAUSE IT IS TWO GUYS. THAT IS BRAINWASHING FOLLOWED BY CONDITIONING. TO THE POINT IT BECOMES OVERWHELMINGLY DISGUSTING, WHY CAN'T THAT MALE PRE SCHOOLER COLOR A KENTUCKY LONG RIFLE AND A COONSKIN CAP LIKE DAVY CROCKETT WORE? INSTEAD OF A SIX YEAR OLD GIRL LEARNING THE WORDS TO SLUTRAP MUSIC LIKE IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASE. (SHE SINGS HER MOMMY SAYS MEN LIKE BIG BOOTY'S). IF THEY DIE NO ONE MISSES THEM. NO ONE KNOWS WHO THEY ARE. SAVE THE KIDS.
II Corinthians 8 - "Hey man, What I MEANT to do-give-say was...."
What is actually in our hearts? How do we know what's in our hearts? You can find out here... The Emmisary Paul (Sha'ul) helps us... This will be fun! I call it "the Why behind our Try…”
Remember my example from last week? What if I had plenty of water and three people needed water?
What if they were all three dying of thirst? So dehydrated that they simply and tragically, but preventably, would die if I don’t actually GIVE them water? What if I INTENDED to give them water?
Does INTENT make any difference? God, through Sha'ul, or the Emmisary, Paul answers this question powerfully. The answer residing in our own hearts impacts our entire life...
What Hillary calls ‘absurd conspiracy theories’ don’t seem so absurd; Why liberals don’t care that their leading voices don’t pay taxes; Why Robert Downey, Jr. is as awesome as Tony Stark; David Limbaugh joins me on "Don't Sweat Hillary Island"; This Earth Day, let’s remember the decades’ worth of environmental panic Americans have been force-fed; Why Barack Obama is amenable to Corker-Menendez; and one more redundant reason why Scott Walker should be the next president of the United States.
Valante and Sabrina discuss the effects of stress in women and how it impacts everyone around them.

Tonight on the Porch we will be discussing the perceptions of Black America vs the Realities that we face. Can we acknowledge the differences between ceremonial accomplishments and true tangible gains that will have long lasting and fruitful impacts on the lives of Blacks in America, or just a select few (Boule?)? We will continue the dialogue about white fear and whether or not there is a legitimacy to it as it has become a popular talking point since this outburst of unarmed Black People being maimed and shot down in the streets of America. These topics and more will be discussed tonight on the Porch!

According to Cancer Research UK, 1 in 3 of people will develop cancer of some sort in their lifetime. The cause of most diseases including cancer remains unknown. Treatment is therefore of the symptoms of diseases rather than the causes of the disease itself. Unsurprising, 75% of all visits to the doctor involve symptoms of illness which are based on excessive or chronic stress. Whilst medication helps in the short term, current scientific research indicates that unless chronic stress is addressed in a timely manner, further diseases are inevitably created. Ignoring the psychosocial and emotional aspects that are impacted on the individuals life produce an ever revolving cycle of mental instability that impacts on the person's ability to function within the normal realms of well-being. Therefore the need to take responsibility for our health and well-being has never been so important. In this segment of The NLP View Radio Show host, Donna Blinston, RGN talks to Marion Dias, about her best-selling book Why Did the Cancer Disappear: Become Free From Cancer & Promote Health.
