Dave Allen Johnson discusses debut of Coffee Shop on UPTV

    in Lifestyle

Dave Allen Johnson debuts his new faith-friendly movie COFFEE SHOP. COFFEE SHOP Stars Rachel Hendrix and Jason Burkey, and will premiere on UP! TV this Sunday 9/14. Dave created the movie to showcase a positive role model for women, something he says Hollywood doesn't typically do.

    About COFFEE SHOP:

Love is brewing in this family appropriate romantic comedy from legendary show producer Dave Alan Johnson ("Doc", "Sue Thomas: F. B. Eye"). COFFEE SHOP features a strong, confident smart female lead (played by Laura Vandervoort) navigating the crazy world of romance while trying to save her beloved coffee shop with the support of her friends.

-Starring Rachel Hendrix, Jason Burkey, Laura Vandervoort, Jon Lovitz, & Kevin Sorbo

      Hear Dave discuss:

-As a longtime TV producer, are you seeing a trend towards family-friendly or even faith-based programming in television as we have seen on the silver screen this year?

-Why did you believe it was important to showcase a strong, smart, attractive woman as opposed to the typical way you say Hollywood characterizes women?

-Why is family friendly entertainment your passion? What else do you have brewing?
