Why do we think we can just give love when the well inside is dry? And if we don't have anything to give, what are we actually doing?
When the tank is empty, and we don't look in the mirror, but feel depleted, tired and perhaps, angry, our first response may be to beat ourselves up and others in our lives. We aren't really loving too much, are we?

This is the truth.
All the barriers you carry against loving yourself, affect your ability to love others. Imagine, if you are pretty cruel to yourself, how do you treat your partner? It's not that you may be cruel, but guaranteed you're trying to fill a void. If you give to he or she from an empty well, expecting them to refill it, how could you demand they do so without giving it to yourself, as though it is their job?
I came up with this topic, because I know if I don't love me, then it's not too inviting for a healthy relationship. In fact it's a recipe for disaster. If you're not happy inside of yourself, I've got news for you, you will definitely create a situation, which matches that unhappiness with your mate.
