Intimate Reflections on America’s Most Interesting Thoughts and Suspicions

    in Books

December 25, 2014 - LIVING A RICHER LIFE ~ Life Changing Talk Radio

THEME: Intimate Reflections on America’s Most Interesting Thoughts and Suspicions (Re-broadcast)

    INTERVIEW GUESTS:

Couples from across the United States join the show’s hosts Earl Cobb and Dr. Charlotte Grant-Cobb to read and discuss their favorite dialogue from the new book, “Pillow Talk Consciousness: Intimate Reflections on America’s Most Interesting Thoughts and Suspicions.”

    THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:

Pillow Talk Consciousness is a unique essay on America, its social & political challenges and the power of human consciousness. The book cleverly illustrates how our birthplace and the level of consciousness we obtain during our lives, eventually frame how we see ourselves, how we see others and how we see our world. It does this through a thoughtful collection of 100 entertaining, informative and provocative dialogues. Each dialogue is written to reflect commonly held thoughts and suspicions on topics that frame the lives and the conversations of average Americans in the 21st century. All are written with a candor that is expressed by the majority of Americans only in the safety and privacy of their own home, with a trusted partner and wrapped in a momentarily abnormal level of human consciousness. The topics range from education to family values; from war to politics and from music to motherhood. Join three couples from across the U.S. as they read and discuss their favorite dialogues and share your own thoughts.

NATIONALITY, BIRTHRIGHT AND THE NEGRO FACTOR: PART 3

    in Spirituality

NEGROES, BLACKS & COLORED: The DRED SCOTT vs. SANDFORD decision was supposedly superseded by another decision named the Slaughter House case(s) and eventually by the 14th Amendment. However, this is not true, the Slaughter House case(s) simply provided safe guards and the 14th Amendment was never fully ratified; hence, leaving us in limbo once again or rather back to square one about out Citizenship. How are we not Citizens in our own land? (Note: The Constitution for the united States of America, the Constitution of the United States of America and the U.S. Constitution; all have been hijacked as the supreme law of the land and the UCC [Uniform Commercial Code] now superseded it. The UCC [Uniform Commercial Code] is Admiralty Law, which ultimately leads to Colorable Law or Color of Law, meaning, the appearance or semblance, without the substance, of legal right. State vs. Brechler, 185 Wis. 599, 202 N.W. 144, 148).

You have to use the Treaties, because the 13th and the 14th Amendment did not help us. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not help us. None of these so-called Rights (“Act” of “privileges”) help us. Our people are still classified under the Negro Act of 1740 (Note: “WEBSTER’S DICTIONARY” definition). Therefore, we must be recognized as human being (not in the since of the Jews [Goyim]) first with Human Rights tied to Indigenous Rights.

SiGnOtHeTiMeS w Queen Tahiyrah Tonight's Audiobook Michelle Alexander NewJimCrow

    in Motivation

The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness a book by Michelle Alexander a civil rights litigator and legal scholar, published in 2010(The New Press). The book deals with race-related and social, political, and legal phenomena in the United States and attempts to apply the term 'The New Jim Crow' to the situation of African Americans in the contemporary United States. The name derives from the original Jim Crow laws that prevailed in the states of the former Confederacy of the U.S. through the 1960s. This book was on The New York Times Best Seller List ten consecutive months, and philosopherCornel West has called it a "secular bible for a new social movement in early twenty-first-century America." In the book Alexander deals primarily with the issue of the current mass levels of incarceration in the United States (with 5%of the world's population, U.S. incarcerates 25%of the world's prisoners) and what she perceives as societal repression of AfricanAmerican men and, to a lesser degree, Latino men. She discusses the social consequences of various policies for people of color, as well as for the US population as a whole. According to Alexander, the majority of black men in large American cities are "warehoused in prisons," their labor no longer needed in the globalized economy. Alexander maintains that many young black men, once they are labeled as "felons," become trapped in a second-class status that they find difficult to escape. The conventional point of view holds that discrimination has mostly ended with the Civil rights movement reforms of 1960s. Alexander claims the U.S. criminal justice system uses the “War on Drugs” as a primary tool for enforcing traditional, as well as new, modes of discrimination and repression.
