JENNIFER ORN I have lived all over the country. I was born in MN and due to my father’s job (Federal Bureau of Prison’s) we moved around a lot. Virginia, California, Alabama, Pennsylvania and Tennessee are all on the list. When I was approximately 16, we ended up back in MN. I’ve also briefly lived in TX and OK as an adult. I received a softball scholarship out of high school to a DII school in MN. After being there for one semester, I realized it wasn’t for me. So, I enlisted in the MN Air National Guard. After completing AF basic training I completed the AF Security Forces Academy. A few months after completing all of my training I returned to my home station in St. Paul, MN. I was then sent to Desert Warfare Training with others from my unit and ultimately deployed for 6 months to Saudi Arabia. After I returned home, I continued my college education. I received my A.S. in Law enforcement and got hired on with a local police department (WI). I attended the WI State Law Enforcement Academy and I worked at that department for a little over 3 years. I ended up leaving that department to pursue a few other things. I ultimately ended up at another department in central MN. After being at this department for almost 2 years, I decided to resign.I am currently a professional dog trainer and animal behavior specialist. I attended a dog training school in TX and will be starting an internship at a dog training facility in another part of TX. I have already started my LLC (Liberty K9 LLC), and am just waiting to return home to get that going full swing.I have 3 awesome dogs, a wonderful boyfriend.

Trucking Open Forum- Blocking Fair Wages for Truckers

    in Current Events

Just as the Denham Amendment attempted, but failed, to prevent Fair wages for truckers in last years Highway Bill known as the FAST ACT, once again the large motor carriers (ATA) have managed to slip in the same exact provision into H.R. 4441, the Aviation Innovation, Reform, and Reauthorization Act, otherwise known as the FAA Reauthorization Bill.

The Act was introduced by the House of Representatives. The “AIRR” Act as it is called, is a bill designed to authorize aviation programs, but on pp 256-258, Title VI, Sec 611, labeled Federal Authority, the attack on driver wages was slipped in by these members of the U.S House of Transportation Committee.

Listen to our last show explaining the dangers of the Denham Amendment and read more via OOIDA's Fighting for Truckers page.

We believe this attack on wages exploits new CDL drivers. Attorney Christina Humphrey is our guest who will discuss Section A and B of the provisions within the FAA Reauthorization Bill.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell (1930 - 2016) Interviewed by Sister Jenna - Rebroadcast

    in Self Help

Paying Tribute to Dr. Edgar Mitchell - Rebroadcast.  On January 31, 1971, Navy Captain Dr. Edgar Mitchell embarked on a journey into outer space that resulted in becoming the sixth man to walk on the moon. This historic journey ended safely nine days later. It was an audacious time in the history of mankind. For Dr. Mitchell, however, the most extraordinary journey was yet to come. Traveling back to Earth, having just walked on the moon, Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell had an experience for which nothing in his life had prepared him. As he approached the planet we know as home, he was filled with an inner conviction as certain as any mathematical equation he'd ever solved. He knew that the beautiful blue world to which he was returning is part of a living system, harmonious and whole—and that we all participate, as he expressed it later, "in a universe of consciousness."  Within two years of his expedition, Dr. Mitchell founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences in 1973.

Watch the Institute of Noetic Sciences video on “Consciousness Matters:  the Mysteries of Inner Space.”
