Join me tonight as I broadcast from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where I will be a guest celebrity this weekend at Izzie's Little Creepers' Night Risers Film Fest and Expo! I will be joined by the convention promoter and Butch Patrick during the show and I hear "the King" might stop by!
I'm Sal Lizard. I am an actor and entertainer. And I often appear at conventions to meet fans and sign autographs. One problem, that many actors have, is finding out about the conventions and how to get on the "guest" list. Likewise, fans are looking for conventions to attend, too. For that reason, I've created my "Convention Buzz" website. Also, I've learned that there are good conventions and some that aren't so good. But that's my opinion and yours might be different. This radio program igive promoters, actors, and vendors, a chance to plug and "pimp" their events and everyone to discuss their convention experiences -- good or bad.
Note: Sal Lizard's "Convention Buzz" is a weekly unscripted, unrehearsed, and uncensored entertainment show presented through the BlogTalkRadio network. Due to language used and content of an adult nature,it is not generally appropriate for all audiences. Callers are recorded and the recordings are available in the show archives. Callers may receive cash andor merchandise prizes for their participation in the show or its contests.
LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily independent political analysis from the Latino perspective. In today's show, I discuss news from Catholic Pulse, the news service of the Knights of Columbus of which I have been a member for over 25 years. The KC's are described by Saint John Paul The Great as "the strong right arm of the Church." Incidentally, Today is the first feast day of Saint Pope John Paul II." I discuss again the nature of the legal battle over homosexual unions being called "marriages" and how in Wyoming and Arizona the state's will on the issue has been overturned in the courts. While I do not seek to criticize individuals I do criticize the movement which seeks to employ a legal strategy to overturn the will of the people and undermine the very fabric of our culture. I then speak of the constant struggle between the Culture of Life and the Culture of Death which benefits from this homosexual issue as it undermines the foundation of our society. After the break I mention that famous Latino designer Oscar De La Renta had passed away. I went on to discuss the incredible polling data that showed a majority of Americans believe the country is "Out of Control!" Then in the final segment I read some headlines about the war in Syria against Islamic State and how the Democrats are avoiding Obama's name but not his policies. Lastly, I read a press release from Familia Latina Unida in that they seek to protest the lack of action from Obama on Immigration Reform and seek an independent Latino candidate for President in 2016.

John Adolph is the Founder of Parqer, an iPhone and Android app that lets users tip and pay for valet parking by phone. Having spent the past 10 years in Dallas, John would often find himself stuck at the valet stand without cash, needing to borrow from friends or to look for an ATM.
After talking with various parking companies and customers, John designed Parqer and launched it in Dallas in May of 2014. Parqer has now expanded to businesses in Austin and Houston, as well as test locations in five other markets.
When not running his own startup, John works as a lawyer at Bracewell & Giuliani in Dallas and spends his free time hanging out with his wife, Erin, and their two dogs.
I will be talking Dallas Cowboys (unfortunately) and Texas Longhorns football with my college homie and Cowboys/Longhorns fan/elitist Spencer Earl. Among the topics to be discussed:
1) Why are the Cowboys so fucking good so far?
2) Is Jerry Jones still pulling the strings?
3) Scott Linehan as OC was a great hire.
4) Can DeMarco Murray hold up while having all those carries?
5) The new DC was another great hire.
6) What is going on at the Univ of Texas?
7) Will they give Charlie Strong a chance to succeed?
8) Is the state now all about Texas A&M (gasp!)?
9) Will Texas allow another Big 12 expansion?
