A few months later Ed’s former crewmen dredge up something chilling from the depths of Alamitos Bay—something horrific and possibly paranormal. Soon, the truth turns into ugly lies by authorities unwittingly manipulated by a dirty bureaucrat masterminding the investigation. Karen A. Lehman- Actor & Executive Director of EAG

    in Radio

Karen A. Lehman is the Executive Director of the Episcopal Actors' Guild of America (EAG). Founded in 1923, EAG is a charitable organization that provides emergency assistance and career support to local, professional performers "of all faiths, and none."

Professionally, Karen has spent her time pursuing two passions: being of service and the performing arts. After graduating from the University of Delaware, Karen worked in Student Affairs for both SUNY and Pennsylvania State University, as well as with Libetae, a woman's halfway house in her home state of Pennsylvania.

During this time, Karen also continued to perform on stage, eventually moving to New York to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, and working as an actress for several years after that.

In 2006, Karen's two passions were brought together in one job when she was hired as the Assistant Director of EAG. Shortly after, in 2008, Karen was named Executive Director. Under her leadership, EAG has greatly expanded its programs and services to include The Headshot Project (free, professional headshots for clients of EAG) and The Actors' Pantry, which provides groceries to EAG clients and their families.

As Executive Director, Karen has also established a very active volunteer program as well as a successful program for Young Professionals.

It is about feeling good from the soul.

    in Spirituality

Over the last 20 plus years I studied and received guidance and the nature of life: God, spirit, heaven, hell, judgment, and life between lives. I read hundreds of books, took shaman journeys, channeled various spirit guides, lead past life and between life regressions.  Now it is time for me to give to you the TRUTH as it has been presented to me.  You may not agree with all I say, but keep an open mind and heart to what resonates with your soul.

As an empath and channel I give soul readings. I read your soul to help you with the: why, when, where and how’s of life purpose. I help you discover any personal beliefs and fears that are limiting you. I delve into your past lives and what effect they have on manifesting what you want.

The focus of readings and coaching is on how to manifest in these areas: spiritually conscious business development, life purpose, healthy living, relationships, and spirituality. I use my gifts and training as an empath, hypnotherapist, and channel. I use therapeutic meditations.  Assisting me to give you the guidance you need our spirit teachers and guides.

I will also present articles from various sources that, give advice, inspire and entertain.  Laughter is a key in all healing.

Guest: Misa Kojima, Dudu-Osun Soap African Forest Founder and Entrepreneur

    in Education

Mrs. Misa Kojima is not an ordinary Japanese woman.  She has built a business in Nigeria years ago when no Japanese corporations operated in Nigeria as the Japanese government has warned Japanese citizens not to enter the country for years.  She built a company called African Forest and bought dudu-osun soaps in Lagos and sold them to the extravagant Japanese cusmetics industory.  She married to a Nigierian man but divorced, and she raises two boys as a single mother in Japan. Those children are mixed between Nigerian and Japanese.  Needless to say, she endured hardships yet the hardships could not defeat her.  She has always maintained optimistic views on her life because she knew she did not have to listen to the negative people.  Currently she works for Ground-Castle Inc. that builds web-site.  Let us ask her how she built business in Nigeria, what she thinks about the danger portrayed by the media, and the possibility lay ahead.

Be a Tree Planted by the Water

    in Christianity

Elder Ted Colbert will kick off today's show with a discussion on how you can be as the tree planted firmly by the water in Psalm 1. What does that mean, and how is that a benefit for you? Then the rest of the team will jump in to explore grace versus the law, show examples of how pastors are incorrectly mixing the two and what Jesus' death really means for us. Want to learn more? Head over to the blog to read more from Will, Sage and the rest of the Truth About Church team: http://www.thetruthaboutchurch.com.

Experience Empowerment By Saying NO And Meaning It

    in Spirituality

Saying NO can be the hardest two letter that you can ever utter, and the most empowering.  Saying no to your loved ones, to your children, husband and family and friends is monumentally challenging. Saying no to your employer and work colleagues is challenging also, but from a different stand point, but challenging none the less.  Saying no to people asking for charitable donations and no to the destitute, displaced and homeless asking for money, while standing on the corner with a hand written sign, has another set of challenges, all of which play havoc with your emotions.  Saying no to certain things can be a no-brainer.  No, you cannot have my left and right kidney!  No! I’m not giving you your car keys; you might not be aware of this, but you’re drunk.
Within all of this, the irony here is, that the person you find it hardest to utter those two syllables to, and mean it, is yourself.  Saying no can hurt you too, because you know that it’s not what the other person wants to hear and they're hurting. There is nothing that you can do about their hurt, other than to be truthful in who you are.  By empowering you; you empower them.

Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and life coach and Olivia Lashley expressions coach and artist as we explore empowerment through saying no.

The West has been spoken for, so now we move East. First up is the NFC North. As you would know from our last two shows, the West plays the North this year. It should lead up to some great match ups and the NFC North had two playoff teams in their division and they go againt five playoff teams out of their division. It should be a grueling year and some exciting football for this division.
