FF: Without Failure There is no Success!

    in Entrepreneur

In business, there are ups and downs. It's just the way it goes. We have failures and then, hopefully we have success. I know that it so easy to get on social media and caught up in the comparison trap. With Blissful Eats and the podcast I have been sharing a lot about my success.  In general, it's really hard for me to stop and celebrate little things. I'm the type of person that just is like, "On to the next thing." Something I'm trying to do is just stop and celebrate.

After I posted a recent success on Facebook, I realized that my Facebook is totally my highlight reel. I haven't shared many of my struggles, but at the same time that's what social media is, isn't it? I'm such a positive person and I'm very optimistic. I'm totally a glass half full person. I like to say I'm a realistic-optimist, so it's not in my nature to just really share any of the huge struggles we have with Blissful Eats or as an entrepreneur in general.  I try and keep it real in other ways especially as a working mom. I just wanted to stop and take a second and just be transparent. When you see all the success that someone is having, really what you're not seeing is all the failures that they have had along the way.

Erykah Badu Suggest Long Skirts for School Age Girls. Why Did Twitter Exlpode?

    in Current Events

ERYKAH BADU, called a PEDOPHILE APOLOGIST, VICTIM BLAMER after tweeting support for a school in New Zealand banning short skirts.  BADU never used her SEXUALITY to sell her music, but once went nude in public for a video shoot, so how could turn around and support such a ban?  Many of her twitter detractors suggested boys should be taught to control themselves, however, BADU defended her stance as simply the nature of young boys and agreed the ban would limit the boys distractions. BADU said she didn't expect the backlash, but glad should could create the dialogue. Do you agree with BADU that this ban is approprate; or is this ban add to the RAPE CULTURE, and unfair to teen girls?  In general should adult women dress modestly to gain the respect of men?  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.  "ALL I ASK IS TO THINK"  FEATURING Badu's music throughout show.

    in Entertainment

Tonight's Main Topic: Microsoft's new A.I experiment causes hell on Twitter and Microsoft pulls the plug on their evil project, with the Twitter account @TayandYou.

The main questions to this topic:

Why the fuck did Microsoft make a A.I experiment account without at least letting the public know about it first?

    Who turned it evil?

and finally: Are Microsoft gonna be in trouble with the law for this shit?

There are no other topics for tonight because I didn't research anything else. So the rest of the program will be me and xirus talking about random shit that has no relation to this show.

    GRIND TIME TUESDAY TALK RADIO

    RECAP – Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Guests: Jessica Stacy & Denise Tyler

It was another exciting night on Play Book Network’s Grind Time Tuesday.  Tonight two great moms of outstanding athletes, Roper Stacy of… New Mexico and Reed Tyler of Brandon, Mississippi shared about the role social media, Twitter in particular, has played in broadening their sons’ social presence.  They have come to embrace Twitter as a new way to be seen by coaches throughout the country.  They also shared their thoughts on their sons, their roles as football moms and how they prepare financially for camp season. Of course keeping the grades up is an important part of being on the athletic scholarship track.  The moms talked about how they help to keep their sons motivated in their studies.
