Financial Grace Radio: Cultivating God’s Money Trees in Your Life Today

    in Women

Today's Show: Talking (or not talking) about Money

Ephesians 4:15 tells us that we are to speak the truth in love.  Ordinarily we’d interpret a verse like that to have relevance when we’re approaching someone about a potential conflict.  But regarding finances, I have come to know it also as a directive that is particularly relevant to the second part of the verse which tells us why?:  So that “we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ”.

What I have experienced in my own life and with countless people I have worked with over the years is the interesting stronghold that Satan gains in people’s lives by convincing them to keep secrets about money.  The secrets can be small like not being completely honest about how much something cost or larger like not telling your spouse that you lost your job or your life savings in a bad investment.

This week on Financial Grace Radio we’ll look at different scenarios for how to talk about money with various people in your life, from call-centre operators at the bank, to your spouse, children, boss, financial advisor, friends, etc.

Military Monday with John D. Gresham and Journalist Donna Lyons

    in Military

2014 has been a rough year for military personnel and members of the veterans community. The year began with a budget crisis, following a government shutdown and over five years without a signed and approved Federal Budget. And while some sense of fiscal responsibility seems to have finally come to the White House and Congress, things for those who still serve, and have served, continue to go from bad to worse. Forced drawdowns of active-duty military personnel continue, despite escalations of enemy action in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. The Department of Veterans Affairs, despite the firing of its top leadership and years of saying that they are, "working the problems," in fact was proven in 2014 to be a criminally corrupt and morally bankrupt organization totally failing in their chartered mission. And as if to punctuate the continuing downward spiral for individuals who serve and have served, service/veterans benefits continue to be eroded in the Fiscal Year 2015 budget, which offers only a paltry 1% pay increase to those who go into harms way for America.

To get a better sense of just what military personnel and veterans will be facing in the coming year, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@Greshamj01) for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest co-host this week will be journalist Donna Lyons. Herself a military/veterans spouse, Ms. Lyons writes extensively about the service/veterans community, and has her own intriguing observations regarding their present day experiences and service. Callers are encouraged to call in and offer questions and opinions to Mr. Gresham and Ms. Lyons, in an hour that we are dedicating to those who serve, those who have served, and those who will serve. Please join us.

  • Is Cancer and other diseases just an Illusion?

    in Health

Sounds like a bold statement doesn't it?

When Lisa Warner was facing cancer, sheI realized that well-being was her TRUE Nature, and that her illness was in essence a distortion from her natural state of being.

Lisa learned how to detect and subsequently clear her field of distortions, healing herself of cancer.

I've invited Lisa to come on my show and share her fascinating story and to share some helpful hints including:

How to tell what ‘asteroids’ of distortions we have floating around in our electromagnetic fields…(here's a hint: anxiety, disease, guilt, shame, blame, lack, victim, embarrassment, "I’m not okay")
The 4 simple steps to dissolving your ‘asteroids’ of distortion
How to raise your consciousness and change your reality from your personal energy field

Lisa has studied consciousness for over 20 years. Her passion is showing how disease is created on an energetic level and how healing and awareness tools can be used to re-create radiantly healthy bodies. She is a consciousness facilitator and the author of “The Simplicity of Self-Healing.”

    Ron Nawrocki - Wealth DNA

    in Finance

Financial Literacy - Blame Yourself ! The Wealth DNA radio show is dedicated to helping you increase your wealth, as well as educating savers & investors. We continue our series on Financial Literacy, focusing on YOU and paving your path to financial independence. Are you well on your way to becoming Wealthy? Are there some obstacles on that path? Is your level of Wealth DNA high enough to make it to your ultimate goal? Who are some of the people in your life who held you back?

For those who have not yet achieved financial independence, or concerned you'll never make it – we had several shows in this series aimed at finding the root cause. We decided blaming your parents may be accurate, but doesn't help. We then suggested blaming your teachers and schools – who probably didn't provide you the financial skills you need, but that didn't help either. So maybe you can blame your employer? Maybe your maker?

Our special guest Larry Winget will share the answer as to who to blame. Larry Winget, also known as the Pit Bull of Personal Development,is a straight shooter and won't mince words. He's the author of 6 bestseller books including:  "Grow a Pair", "Shut up Stop Whining & Get a Life" , and "You're Broke because You want to be". He's worked with 400 of the Fortune 500 companies and has been a guest on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, PBS and many other programs. What's some of his advice to increase your Financial Literacy? Which of his books should you buy yourself and your kids for Christmas? Grab a cup of coffee, or glass of wine and learn the answers …

  • The Power Of Humility

    in Entrepreneur

In this day of flash-and-dash swagger and over-inflated egos, it's easy to succumb to a "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality. But at what cost? It's imperative for leaders to stay driven. Stay focused. Keep their foot on the gas pedal.

But then there's another psychology. The psychology of humility. It's easy to mistake humility for weakness, subordination..even scarcity. But NOTHING could be further from the truth.

Listen in  as JT gives you the straight scoop on how humility can make you a STRONGER, more effective leader in business and life.

  • What does it mean to be like Jesus?

    in Spirituality

Over the years I have heard the phrase "be like Jesus" spoken in many churches.  What does this mean to you?  How are you living to reflect what Jesus was really trying to teach the Jews and then pass on to the Gentiles?

Years ago someone asked "What would Jesus Do?"  This began to be seen on all kinds of things.  Books, mugs, wrist bands, bookmarks, etc.  This is another phrase that bring up the question "How would I know?"

What steps did Jesus teach about manifesting and creating the life that you want?  You can manifest all within the teachings in the New Testement of the Bible.

Today we are going to discuss how to answer WWJD or how to be like Jesus.

Join me and my guest Bonnie W. Kaye, http://MyJourneyToTheOtherSide.com, for this interesting discussion.
