NOBLE MARARA : PAUL KAGAME NA IBUKA ASSOCIATION BATAYE IBABA KURI BBC

    in Politics Progressive

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

TOPIC: PAUL KAGAME NA IBUKA ASSOCIATION BAYAYE IBABA KURI BBC

BBC spokesperson said: “The BBC strongly refutes the suggestion that any part of the programme constitutes a ‘denial of the genocide against the Tutsi’. There are repeated references to the mass killings of Tutsis by Hutus in 1994 and that this constituted genocide. The programme also includes an interview with the Director of the Genocide Museum at Murambi, a Tutsi and genocide survivor, and a convicted Hutu genocidaire who spoke of his part in the killing of thousands of Tutsis.

“The BBC has a duty to investigate difficult and challenging subjects and we believe the programme is a valuable contribution to the understanding of the tragic history of the country and the region, and of the governance of Rwanda over the last 20 years.”

ESE PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME YAHAGARITSE GENOCIDE CYANGWA YARAYITANGIJE?

    in Politics Progressive

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

TOPIC:  ESE PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME YAHARITSE GENOCIDE CYANGWA YARAYITANGIJE?

The BBC TWO revealed to the world what many of us knew about the Rwandan President. This is a man who is praised and supported by some personalities in the West, although they cannot tolerate a person of this kind in their own respective countries for a single day. Why then do they think his good for Rwandans?

This is the question the former Rwandan Army Chief Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa asked   reporter Jane Corbin in a lengthy program that exposed  the most  horrifying  incidents of massacres of innocent Rwandans both in Rwanda and Congo by Kagame.

In this documentary there are many distortions of   facts on what might have happened in the hundred days during genocide. While Kagame and his Western backers  put the blame entirely on the  Hutus, the two American researchers have questioned the statistics of the population of Tutsis before and after genocide. They argue that before genocide Rwanda had an estimated 500,000 Tutsis and after genocide it is estimated that 300,000 survived. If the number of people died in the genocide is around One Million (1,000,000) it follows that 200,000 Tutsis and possibly some Hutus who were sympathetic to the RPF cause or wanted to protect the Tutsi where killed by interahamwe.

    TWA, HUTU, TUTSI. The truth.

    in Current Events

I chose to have this show on April 5th because even on April 5th, 1994. Hours before the drop that caused a valley of blood to flow in Rwanda. Some already knew we were going to die and they thought we were nothing but collateral damage...so they let it happen. They let hate and fear drown an entire nation into Death. This show revisits what it means to be TWA-HUTU-TUTSI. and how the inequalities started among the groups that occupied Rwanda. How inequalities still exist in the world we have inherited. This show will also comment and expose the illusions behind the G20 summit in London 2009. The first part will be in English. the 2nd part in Kinyarwanda.

Charles Onana : La France dans la terreur rwandaise, 20 Ans du Genocide Rwandais

    in Politics Progressive

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

Or, depuis 20 ans, cet acte terroriste reste impuni.

Four Genocide Survivors discuss their Experiences and Never Again

    in Politics

Today's show is an hour long special on Genocide.

Guests will be survivors and decendants of survivors from the Armenian, Cambodian, Rwandan Genocides as well as the Holocaust. They are:

Armenian Genocide: Karine Shnorhokian, who is the grandchild of survivors

The Holocaust: Sol Rosenkranz, a survivor of the holocaust

The Killing Fields of the Cambodian Genocide: Bun Yom, survivor.

The Rwandan Genocide: Nibagwire Dida, survivor, will participate from Kigali, Rwanda

The show will begin with me introducing each of the guests and asking each to give an 8-10 minute description of their experiences with genocide. Then I plan to have a question and answer and crosstalk where we discuss similar experiences, ways in which earlier genocides may have in fact served as a blueprint for later genocides or emboldened the perpetrators of future genocides and also problems with getting the perpetrators identified and prosecuted.

Finally, we will discuss strategies for improving the odds that will make "Never Again" a reality.
