    What's So Funny About ADHD?

    in Health

    Welcome to our new time

Giving us more time for conversation I have extended Conversations In Care to an hour and will be introducing you to Tony Fischer and The Fischer Report.  Join us in conversation!

There is nothing I can say better than what my guest can say best.  So let me introduce you to Tom Nardone:

Tom Nardone- He is a fountain of insight, come drink from him on March 4th . His claim is, he is not a writer, although he plays one in real life.  Tom is a very funny blogger (tomnardone.net and adhdpeople.net). He presents a rare form of honesty, seldom seen on the blogosphere.  He has also written a book that should be out this year. Most recently he has started his own podcast called the "Tom Nardone Show" He is married and lives in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife Yvonne.

Tom Believes there are plenty of ADHD writers trying to help and change people, but there are none writing primarily to entertain ADHD People and make them feel good about who they are and what they are. Tom Has a love and a passion for inspiring people to live the life they want to live and not the life they are expected to live. His podcast is also a celebration of this belief.

    Spektrum1 Natural Hand Sanitizer

    Spektrum1 Natural Organic Sanitizer Show

Skin The Largest Organ and the Hands are the Single most Important target for disease transmission.

Hand washing and skin sanitiation is the single most simple solution for combatting transmission of public and hosptial or health care facilities diseases. Dr. Ignaz Semmelweiss discoverd the vast importance of washing the hands between examinations (usually corpses) and the next patient, this was over 168 years ago in 1847, Vienna, Austria. Today the persistent use of contract cleaners, bleach and hand sanitizers, etc. remain the forefront of recommendations by the CDC, the American Society for Microbiology, the AMA and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. The chlorine bleach protocol and goopy hand sanitizers, containing triclosan, quaternary ammonium compounds, benzylkonium chlorides and questionable health hazards themselves are purchased in the billions of dollars and highly recommended each year by these people. Yet, 2.4 Million Americans become ill, contact disease or actually die due to hospital, health care related (noscomial) contact. The place to not go when you are sick. Why? Patient to patient, care giver to patient, patient contact surfaces and patient contact equipment lend to over 100k fatal outcomes each year. ? Thursday's are Thankful "Won By Wisdom" 1 Peter 5

    in Christianity

    1 Peter 5        (NIV)

To the Elders and the Flock

5 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be;not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

Deepertruth: St. Vincent de Paul Active In Missionary Work

    in Religion

Jesus gave this example, “And he sat down and called the Twelve and he said to them, “If any one would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” And he took a child, and put him in the midst of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” (Mark 9:35-37)

Acts Chapter 6 informs us that the Apostles established an order of deacons to help them with the care of the widows. The Church has always needed help to take care of the poor. We do become the Lord’s hands when we do his will, to take care of the needy.

Through the inspiration of St. Vincent de Paul, the founders of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul would come to the United States in 1845 beginning at the Basilica of St. Louis.

This Basilica, commonly called “The Old Cathedral”, was named in honor of St. Louis, King of France.

Father John Timon, a Vincentian priest from Pennsylvania, would establish a local chapter in Louisville Kentucky in 1854 and the Society has never looked back since.

The Society has a broad outreach that has helped untold millions of people all over the world.

They continue to help the poor regardless of background of those needing help.

According to their webpage, it states, “The St Vincent de Paul Society’s members and volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through our Conferences, Special Works and Vinnies shops. Members and volunteers assist people in need and do not discriminate against cultural, religious or political beliefs.”
