2D Sports Radio Proudly Presents: PWR SLAM! 2 Year Anniversary Night 1

    in Wrestling

Two years ago, a few friends who knew each other from working on the independent wrestling scene in Illinois decided to get into this fairly new medium of podcasting. Along with some other guys they met on Facebook they decided to create a podcast dedicated to wrestling. They called their new creation Pro Wrestling Roundtable. There have been several changes in terms of name, cohosts and many networks but the show, now called PWR SLAM! is not just still alive but thriving. What started out as a local based show has turned into a global phenomenon with fans all over the world. We have presented not just up and coming stars but veterans and legends. We haven't shied away from controversy either, discussing a wrestler who had to get a regular job because the promotion wasn't paying him to racism and sexism. This week, however, is about celebrating two years of fun with our friends both old and new. We felt that one night with our standard format just didn't fit this party we are going to have so we decided to make it a two night celebration & our guest list is stacked. Airing both Tuesday & Wednesday with both nights starting at 9/8 Central the guest list is a veritable who's who of the wrestling business. Slated to appear with us over the two days will be Joel Deaton, The Stro, Fred Ottman, Kenny Starmaker Bolin, Bill Apter, Roxy Astor, Terry Garvin Simms, & many more. We also have a couple of big surprises for our fans and we might even get surprised ourselves. Sean, Steve, & Katie already know they will have no control of either night but invite you to join them for the mayhem. We are restricting call times this week to allow our guests the chance to interact with us & each other. Questions will always be welcome via our chat room. When we do announce question time you may either reach us on Skype or by phone (347)-826-9418. Join us as we celebrate two years of the best wrestling podcast on the internet PWR SLAM!

    in Christianity

There are precisely two years ago that we had started the radio program "Demolishing Strongholds", offering to God the fate of this instrument of His kingdom.
Today we will be remembering some of the issues discussed by us, seeking to raise the awarenesses of consciences dormant by the spiritual pitfalls of worldliness and institutional religiosity, which together work to "hide" the true Kingdom of Christ on Earth.
And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
    Deuteronomy 29: 5

God gave our first parents the food He designed that the race should eat. It was contrary to His plan to have the life of any creature taken. There was to be no death in Eden. The fruit of the trees in the garden, was the food man’s wants required. God gave man no permission to eat animal food until after the flood. Everything had been destroyed upon which man could subsist, and therefore the Lord in their necessity gave Noah permission to eat of the clean animals which he had taken with him into the ark. But animal food was not the most healthful article of food for man.

The people who lived before the flood ate animal food and gratified their lusts until their cup of iniquity was full, and God cleansed the earth of its moral pollution by a flood. Then the third dreadful curse rested upon the earth. The first curse was pronounced upon the posterity of Adam and upon the earth, because of disobedience. The second curse came upon the ground after Cain slew his brother Abel. The third most dreadful curse from God came upon the earth at the flood.

After the flood the people ate largely of animal food. God saw that the ways of man were corrupt, and that he was disposed to exalt himself proudly against his Creator and to follow the inclinations of his own heart. And He permitted that long-lived race to eat animal food to shorten their sinful lives. Soon after the flood the race began to rapidly decrease in size, and in length of years.—Spiritual Gifts 4a:120, 121, 1864
