Tulane will miss one of the most talented defensive backs in all of college football with Nixon making his path to the NFL Draft. Blessed with speed that only God gives, Nixon says the defensive back he admires most is Darrell Green. If Mr. Green is before your time he was known as the NFL's Fastest Man. Nixon was invited the the College Gridiron Showcase in Arlington, TX. In front of NFL Scouts he displayed the same qualities that made him stand out at Tulane.
Prior To Tulane: Played two seasons at the University of Memphis, starting 13 of the 18 games he played in for coach Larry Porter...saw action in eight games with four starts as a true freshman in 2010, finishing fourth on the in kickoff returns (4) and return yardage (53), tied for fourth in pass break-ups (2) and tied for 10th in tackles for loss (1.5) while tallying 15 tackles (9 solo, 6 assists)

He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tulane Law School, receiving the Tulane Law Dean's Medal and selection for the Order of the Coif. Jill Johnson joined ABI as its director of government affairs, a newly created position, in December 2013. In this capacity, Ms. Johnson actively supports ABI at the federal, state and local government levels to ensure and expand funding, regulatory, and political support for the program. Ms. Johnson has worked for more than a decade with conservation groups in Georgia and across the Southeast.
As the President of Live Oak Strategies, LLC, she advocated on behalf of her clients before the state legislature and acted as liaison to legislators, state agencies, and the Governor’s Office on their behalf. She provided help with government and public affairs, public and media relations, strategic planning, and fundraising.
Previously, Ms. Johnson served as the Political Director for Georgia Conservation Voters where she held elected officials accountable for their votes on key conservation issues and helped elect pro-conservation candidates to office. Before that, she spearheaded efforts on land conservation and advocacy at the Georgia Conservancy.
Ms. Johnson is a graduate of LEAD Atlanta and the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University. She is married with one child and enjoys running and participating in triathlons.

Lauren Ploch, MD, MEd, FAAD, is board certified dermatologist currently practicing in New Orleans, LA.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she also received a Master’s degree in Education. She earned her medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Ploch also completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Tulane.
