About Kuya Kano
Kuya is an acoustic musician who performs World Inspired Spanish Guitar. His 12 year experience of world traveling has captured European, Middle Eastern, Latin and Asian sounds that make his music a unique blend for almost any occasion. Although Kuya Kano began performing music in the United States, his career as a Professional Yachtsman took him around the world where his international sound was eventually formulated. His musical style was first inspired in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico by a duet known as "Latcho and Andrea" who conducted a Spanish/Flamenco performance on his yacht. Since then, his passion grew for this free-style and adventurously spirited style of the Spanish guitar.

Today, I visited Tableau, a Second Life region after learning about it on The Drax Files. I met the sim creator, Nylon Pinkney, briefly while exploring various spots there. It's a fun, visually stimulating place to visit. The trip reminded me of my first days in SL where everything was new and was so fascinated by everything I discovered. It's been a while since I have that feeling of newness in SL.
Of course, I'll share what's on the bestseller book list and what I'm reading this week. If you enjoy the show, follow me on twitter and BTR. Happy Listening!

Happy 4th! Listen to my new music discovery right at the start of the show. I accidently found The Painted Pianos-Go (Ft. Olmos) on SoundCloud. This week, I made it to Me & You with Mic and Meetu Writer on Concert Window and Tranquil Cafe. On Friday, I popped in The Lost Unicorn Gallery event for the Magical Collection by Pam Estonia and Magissa Denver. Seth Regan (aka Mankind Tracer) was the featured artist. To end my Friday night, I stopped by Nashville Row for James Olmos concert which continued until wee hour of Saturday morning. James Olmos is one of those rare musicians who actually enjoys engaging with his fans. I was beyond amazed when he turned one of my poems into a song which he sang live! The highlight of my crazy week. Red Heaven performed their farewell show at Templemore in Second Life. I hope it's only for the summer and the band will be back in SL before the end of 2015. There are lot of festivities and hunts going on in Second Life this month. Be sure to make it to some of the live music shows and literary events going on. As always, Sunday is packed with open mic poetry from morning to night. Be sure to follow me on twitter and Blogtalkradio.
