LAUGH your way to health and happiness!
***Four year olds laugh up to 300 times a day
***Average adult hardly laughs at all!
STRESS...getting in touch with your feelings about something specific is the beginning to the road of cartharsis.
Our bodies are a triangle...STRUCTURE-EMOTIONAL-PHYSICAL.
HUMOR is intellectual, a way of viewing the World. We view 'funny things' differently.
LAUGHTER is UNIVERSAL. The process involves every major system in the body. It's spiritual, physiological and emotional. LAUGHTER does not need a reason to be, it's ureasonable, illogical and irrational and it exits for its own sake.
Health benefits of LAUGHING...Many over the age of 90 attribute...etc.
In Second to None, author Joe Valerio tells the incredible story of the Buffalo Bills: the perpetual almost-champions and their indomitable fans. The Bills' incredible skill and teamwork on the field was matched only by their single-minded determination as, in the four years spanning 1991 to 1994, the team won four consecutive conference championships, and lost four consecutive Super Bowls. The peaks and nadirs of their record reflect a fascinatingly dynamic, uneven, and—at times—uncontrollable array of talents. Valerio renders in sharp detail how the Bills' unique culture was formed by an unlikely ecosystem of world-class athletes hunkered down in bleak western New York, far away from the celebrity playgrounds of other pro teams. Meticulously researched and carefully crafted, this one-of-a-kind look inside the Super Bowl-era Buffalo Bills is based on extensive interviews with the key players, coaches, and management, including Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, as well as coach Marv Levy, general manager Bill Polian, and many others, including players and coaches from opposing teams, and the reporters who covered them.

Charlotte View presents its newest project 'Conversations' with your host Claudia Pureco and the guest of the day. This time I have invited Lauren Logan to the conversation and to launch this project to share our genuine thoughts as they emerge in free conversations with each other (and whoever 'jumps' into the conversation 805-830-8344)
Charlotte View host, Claudia Pureco, has gained so much inspiration through her conversations with some quite remarkable people, with her own spiritual self and with her personal relationships. It is while having these conversations that much information has come through. Many times the thought of putting these conversations into the show has presented itself, only to be sent back to a later time. Now is the time.
Most of the time, what we need to help us through the struggles in our lives is not the advice of an expert but the wisdom of a friend. The topics covered in these warm and highly personal conversations are broad and varied, but one thing comes through with constancy and clarity: there is great value in a wise, experienced friend to help us see more clearly and to strengthen our growth in faith and godliness. A big part of living courageously lies in having fierce, authentic conversations.
If you want to be part of these conversations, you can. Just call, listen to where the conversation is going and 'jump in' by pressing #1 to be in the queue. If you wish just to remain as a listener press #2. Also, you can listen to these conversations at any time you wish after the show, follow Charlotte View and be "in the loop"

Our next show features singer/songwriter/guitarist, Chris Gennett. If you are a fan of John Mayer and James Taylor, you'll definitely be a fan of Chris Gennett. 2015 has been an exciting year so far for the Philadelphia native. Chris just released his debut album, "Hey Kid" in march. He also was just named RockOnPhilly.com's June Artist of the Month. Chris describes his music as fitting inside of a Pop/Folk/Blues triangle. He is an active member of the Philly music scene and is always performing and supporting other local artist. We are excited to have Chris share his kind voice with us.
