Today I am talking with Lt. Colonel Trevor Lomas US Army Reserves, Colonel Lomas was the Former Commanding Officer of the 222nd Broadcast Operations Detachment based at the Gen. George S. Patton Army Reserve Center in Bell, California.
What Caught My eye and the many reasons I wanted to do this interview are (1) Gen. George S. Patton Army Reserve Center [Patton keeps showing up as a theme for many shows (2) US Army Reserves, (3)
222nd Broadcast Operations Detachment, (4) Colonel Lomas also teaches High School social studies , (5) and has a long History working with Boy Scouts of America. Needless to say I saw a lot of Similarities to Yours truly. I first learned of Colonel Lomas through an article in the Local School District Newspaper highlighting his achievements in the US Army to help him with his students. I look forward to hearing the how he does that and what he is doing now in his Army Reserve Post Command tour.
Should be a great show and has always I invite all to join in.
I’m also look forward to asking how he ties all three of these functions together and still maintain his sanity ( I have also been there, done that)
The reins for the 222nd Broadcast Operations Detachment were handed to Cpt. Brian Andries from Lt. Col. Trevor Lomas during a change-of-command ceremony held at the Gen. George S. Patton Army Reserve Center in Bell, California on August, 10, 2014.

Tonight I'm talking about the Chicago Blackhawks continuing their struggles, dropping two more home games over the weekend in ugly fashion. With the NHL trade deadline approaching, would you rather see the Hawks make a move to shore up their defense or help their recently anemic offense? The Chicago Bulls have won 6 of their last 7, but Derrick Rose remains consistently inconsistent while Joakim Noah and some role players have stepped up their game. If you could have the MVP Derrick of old OR the Defensive Player of the Year Noah of last season, which would you rather have? I've got open phone lines for you! (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
Murdoch’s road to the ring began in tiny Fredericktown, Mo., a town of fewer than 4,000 people in the Ozark Mountains. He was a wrestling fan almost from the beginning. Murdoch grew up on the Von Erichs and ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams. He loved how they competed in the ring and controlled that crowd, how they were able to bring them up and back down. After high school, he planned on joining the Marines, but instead went into the Job Corps and became a certified welder. Before long, he found himself in Athens, Ga., building railroad cars. He soon came back to Missouri, where his brother was working with a small independent wrestling organization. Murdoch finally had his opportunity to step in the ring.Through his work on the Missouri independents, Murdoch came into contact with WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race, who was opening his own wrestling school in Eldon, Mo. Murdoch ended up being one of the first two students to join Race’s camp, which was an interesting feeling for him. Murdoch got the chance to fine-tune his skills in the ring while Race figured out what the best curriculum was for teaching future classes. The burly grappler recalls six- and seven-day-a-week training with calisthenics, matches and learning a move or two from “Handsome” Harley. That advice stuck with Murdoch as he traveled to Japan, spending six months in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s dojo. He endured grueling training that included 500 squats, 300 push-ups, extended neck bridging sessions, in-ring drills and more. He didn’t know it at the time, but this excursion would change his life the next time Race sent him to Raw.

Live Chat :International Reggae Icon Unsong Hero Jimmy London
Jimmy London (born Trevor Shaw, 30 November 1949 in Saint Catherine Parish, Jamaica) is a reggae singer who first recorded in the late 1960s, and achieved chart success both in Jamaica and the United Kingdom in the early and mid-1970s.London was a member of vocal duo The Inspirations, along with Ransford White (later known as Billy Dyce). White's brother Doraney was a member of The Techniques, and the duo hung out at the Techniques rehearsal premises on King Street, becoming friendly with Roy Shirley, who helped them to get started in the music business. They recorded their debut single "I Need Money" for producer Sir JJ at Linden Pottinger's studio, but when it failed to make much impact, they moved on to work with Lee "Scratch" Perry, recording "Tighten Up" (twice, it was originally recorded at WIRL, but re-voiced at Studio One). They released a further song for Perry, "You Know What I Mean", but dissatisfied with the attention they received from Perry, moved on to Joe Gibbs. With Gibbs, they recorded tracks such as "Take Back Your Duck", "La La", and "The Train is Coming".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_London_%28reggae_singer%29 copyright 2015 caribbeanradioshow.com 661-467-2407 firstname.lastname@example.org
