Veteran Lessons for Transitioning and Living Well

    in Family

With nearly one million veterans set to transition into civilian life over the next five years, Steve Maieli’s mission and insight will no doubt continue to be of help to countless veterans. He’s written extensively about the separation process and military benefits, to include regular contributions to Military Times, Air Force Times, Army Times, Navy Times and the Marine Corps Times -- in addition to providing a wealth of resourcefulness on his own website and blog. From treasuring family relationships to answering the call of duty, Steve Maieli has made it his mission to pass on veteran lessons for living and serving well.

In 2008, he founded Transitioning Veteran. Transitioning Veteran.com provides free access for all military veterans and their families looking for simple information on benefits and more. It was born out of his own transition experience from military to the civilian world in 2003. Steve quickly realized he wasn't prepared and resources weren't readily available to tap.  Fueled by frustration over the gap and difficulty in sorting through benefits information, he decided to do something about it -- something that would make a difference for generations of veterans.

It’s often difficult and time-consuming to find the right information from various websites online concerning veteran’s benefits. Transitioning Veteran.com affords a centralized resource where vital information is readily available for the military community - from education to medical to employment benefits. Join us to meet Steve Maieli, learn about the plethora of resources for veterans, and what's next for this trending Vetreprenuer.
