Join me July 30, 2014 @ 8pm EST as we have Transgender Coversations an open conversation about the ongoing issues, life and love in the community and how all this revolves around our panelists and maybe, just maybe you. Joining me will be Louis Mitchell, Reverend Eunice “Yunus” Coldman and Jack Ori.
Louis serves as the Engagement Coordinator for the TransFaith and as the Minister of Family and Congregational Life for South Congregational Church in Springfield. He is founding member of the Trans People of Color Coalition, a member of the National Black Justice Coalition’s Leadership Advisory Council, a member of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries’ Trans-Saints.
Reverend Eunice “Yunus” Coldman is an ordained Interfaith Minister and licensed NYC Wedding Officiant. He is the CEO of Soulful Touch Ceremonies which provides ceremonial services throughout the New York tri-state area and Long Island. Having come from an Evangelical background, in 2010 he began seeking a path that included multiple spiritual walks of life and finally became an Interfaith Minister for the sole purpose of bringing life and divine love to those who seek his counsel and services.
Jack Ori likes to say that he took the “long way around” to the life he was meant to live. Born and raised as the girl he was not, he struggled with anger, depression and social difficulties that interfered with his ability to use his intelligence for anything productive. It wasn’t until he began gender transition in his early 30s that he began living up to his potential. Today, Jack is pursuing his Masters in mental health counseling at the New School in New York City while earning a living as a freelance writer and life coach for young adults.
On Last week's show, "Do Best Friends Make Good Lovers", the crew ended up getting into an ongoing debate about how to address a transgender. We never managed to get on the same page and almost completely went off of the actual show topic. We eventually converted back to show topic but after engaging in such an intense debate, we realized there was unfinished business and that we'd need an entire show to debate about this topic. Well tonight the debate continues.
This is a discussion you won't want to miss, so make sure you tune in and if you'd like to share your thoughts or opinions with us, feel free by sending us a Facebook Inbox, email (ItsRealTalkRadio@yahoo.com), or you can share your opinion live on air by dialing 347-838-9540. SCOTUS's latest ruling in favor of Hobby Lobby to deny healthcare coverage for birth control and female contraceptives due to religious beliefs has stirred a lot of controversy, but is this issue personal or strictly business? Obama is also set to sign an executive order in favor of protecting federal workers who are transgender in addition to protections for gays and lesbians -- on the heels of gay pride weekend. Nice political move, eh? How do these latest rulings by our rulers affect our journey of knowing and being thyself? Can we really be who we truly are in this world?

And for all the prejudice and expectations that are heaped on couples that come from different backgrounds, is that hardship lessened in the LGBTQ community, or is it just more of the same?
Tune in as we speak to four guests about their dating history with those of another race or gender identity.

If you've been working the web for any length of time, then you know the search engines frown on what is known as "Black Hat" techniques. This technology has been used to exploit search engine algorithms since the first search engines appeared. The reason black hatting used to be popular was because it could move your website onto Page 1 in a hurry. Before the turn of the century, black hatting was practically a requirement, since the practice was so prevalent. However, during the past few years, search engine operators have designed their spiders to search and destroy anyone employing black hat techniques. In fact, the past half dozen updates on Google have been designed specifically to crack down sites that were using these techniques. This has resulted in a number of sites being either delisted or even black listed. The problem is that most people still don't understand where the line in the sand has been drawn regarding black hat practices and technology. So in this episode we're going to show you who is wearing a black hat on the Wild Wild Web. We'll also review some of the more common black hat-like techniques that can get you into trouble so you'll know to avoid doing them.
