Host Kevin Hunter features Ajay Prasad, owner and founder of GMR Transcription Services. Ajay started the business to fill the void in the market for accurate, reliable transcription and transalation services for writers, students, professors, and businesses.
Advice from Ajay:
To me, success is keeping customers happy while still being profitable. I learned early on that it is critical to provide a great customer service while standing by your promises and guarantees. This is what helped me retain customers that were not always happy with my service while I worked to develop a process to improve it.
From voice transcription to language translation, GMRT’s commitment to excellence can be measured by the satisfaction of clients like Accenture, Amazon, Stanford University and the National Endowment of the Arts. With industry competitors’ prolific practice of offshoring services and utilizing machines to save costs and increase revenue, our clients quickly realize the invaluable benefits of working with GMRT, where every document remains securely within the U.S. in the most competent human hands.
Over the years, my definition of success has been tested, to be sure, but never discarded. I believe in providing value at a price people can afford. When everyone is happy, everyone wins.

This active, Medical Order is the last such organization, carrying on the work of monastic medicine, and we wish to have it preserved for the benefit of future generations as well as serve a lasting memory of a movement that contributed significantly to the Renaissance of today’s modern medicine. This heritage included languages, transcription, folk tales, ceremonies, etc. about traditional medicine, and all the medical and nursing skills that were handed down from generation to generation including surgery and ambulatory care. These traditions and practices reflect the spirit of members and communities of the doctors from Europe to the Americas, to the Philippines. This intangible heritage is at great risk as the natural and spiritual heritage must be preserved to the world for future posterity.
The new school emphasizes the biological sciences in relation to theistic evolution, bedside diagnosis, tropical medicine, laboratory, emergency medicine, minor surgery, chaplaincy, nursing, and rural primary care. Academic learning will work in concert with clinical rotations in the rural clinics sponsored and operated by the Order.
Description: The program is combined online studies with clinical rotations as service to the Order's Hospitals and primary care centers. The centers are currently located in Nevis, West Indies; Quito and Santo Domingo Ecuador; Malakoff, Texas; Cyprus; with other centers developing. Enrollment is limited to members of the Order having taken monastic vows.
Admittance into the School is by formal application with a referral of Knight in good standing. Upon application and confirmation, an appointment for personal interview is arranged.
This week features Mark Moriarty, the founder and creator of Awesound.com, a new podcast hosting tool that aims to make podcast discovery, metadata integration and monetization a lot easier. We reviewed it previously and I was super excited to have Mark join us to talk about it. And make sure you check out the whole interview because Mark is creating a special offer for PodUp Fans.

Recently the White House sent out an email asking, 'Do You Know Who Ada Lovelace is?' (Yes. Do you?) & there was buzz around the last press conference of the year focusing only on female journalists -- Eleanor Roosevelt did it first, but who's counting... ? Well, someone is, because everywhere you look, someone is trying to restore balance to our patriarchal society. Feminist.com founder Marianne Schnall asked the leading question in her book What Will It Take to Make a Woman President? and got great answers from scores of luminaries on women & leadership. Feminist icon Gloria Feldt has founded Take the Lead Women, based on her book No Excuses: 9 Ways Women Can Change How We Think about Power . But could Plato have the answer? Professor Anna Caney's new transcription of a previously unpublished work by Henry Howard gives a universe of historical reasons why women should rule. Hey, it worked for Queen Elizabeth I.
