    in Christianity

Host Emma Boa-Durgammah is humbled to interview Sandra Wyatt in part 2 of a two-part interview! Sandra will share how God helped her navigate familial, health-related and vocational new beginnings among others with Christ-Centered courage and boldness. She is a walking miracle, a fact acknowledged by even doctors at John Hopkins.

Sandra is a Bold, Funny and Resilient Christ Representative as a mother to 5 grown children, Jason, Aprille, Heather, Brittaney and Tim, “Nana” to her 12 grandchildren, Entrepreneur, Artist and Executive Assistant. Sandra’s journey began when she accepted Christ at the age of 9 at a Presbyterian church in Birmingham.  In her 50+ years of being a Christian, she has walked through various stages of “brokenness” yet her faith, humor and love for God carried her through those difficult times. Sandra’s favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. This has been foundational to living a life of courage and boldness in Jesus.

Grassroots talks with: Dr Margaret Aranda

    in Current Events

Dr. Margaret Aranda, is the second-born of seven Latina children. In 1985 she graduated California State University, Northridge, Cum Laude and went to Oral Roberts University Medical School. I graduated USC Medical School in 1990, completed Stanford Anesthesiology in 1995 and Stanford Critical Care in 1996.
She and her three year old daughter were in a tragic car accident in 2006, after a lady hit the gas instead of the brakes because her Chinese food was falling from the seat.                                                                                                       If it weren't for the car accident, I never would have had the time to write books. And I enjoy transferring her brain knowledge to paper, to contribute to society and medicine in her own way. Her biggest following is Face Book Caring Friends with Invisible Illnesses, and she received the 2011 Perseverance Award for her efforts, from the Invisible Disabilities Association.

Metal Hammer of Doom: Surgical Meth Machine - Surgical Meth Machine

    in Music

The boys are back to talk about a new venture by Al Jourgensen!

Surgical Meth Machine is an industrial metal album by Al Jourgensen's project of the same name. It was released on April 15, 2016. The album was conceived by Jourgensen and engineer Sam D'Ambruoso as a tribute to the late guitarist Mike Scaccia, who Jourgensen called "probably the best shredder guitar player who walked this planet"[1] – to this end, the project was planned to resemble the song "Side FX Include Mikey's Middle Finger (TV 4)" from From Beer to Eternity, with all songs clocking over at least 220 beats per minute.[2] The project changed direction, however, when Jourgensen moved from Texas to California and got a medical marijuana card; according to Jourgensen, after this, "the record seemed to slow down considerably".[1]

    Tracks:
    1.     "I'm Sensitive"
    2.     "Tragic Alert"
    3.     "I Want More"
    4.     "Rich People Problems"
    5.     "I Don't Wanna" (feat. Jello Biafra)
    6.     "Smash and Grab"
    7.     "Unlistenable"
    8.     "Gates of Steel" (Devo cover[3])
    9.     "Spudnik"
    10.     "Just Go Home"
    11.     "Just Keep Going"
    12.     "I'm Invisible"
